    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the mariner shirts This shirt is more substantial than a t-shirt, and it drapes and layers very well. It is very big. I had to size down. I nearly universally wear a M Petite in LLBean tops. I ordered this, based on reviews, in a S Petite, and the fit is perfect. I would not want it any bigger. I have washed it; I hung it to dry because I did not want it to shrink. I purchased the cream with navy trips, as it is a timeless classic.

The multi-stripe will look good with blue or black, and I love the three- quarter sleeves. The boat neck is very flattering, as well, and it is true to size. Thanks, LLB, this one is a winner!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect shirt for the shoulder seasons Finally, a flattering top made from fabric with some body to it! And sleeves that don’t fit like sausage casings. I like the looser fit, and the length is great for my 5’4” frame. It covers the bulges without going halfway to my knees. The fabric is great for an upper Midwest spring and fall, and for cooler summer nights. For hot summer days I’d go with something lighter. I’m ordering two more colors today!

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shirt cut, not for me! Cute shirt for the most part. The neckline was a loose “boatneck” — not a traditional “boatneck” in my opinion. Also, LLBean makes some of their cutest tshirts way too short. I don’t like to raise my arms and show my midriff which is getting to be more the norm rather than the exception. Fabric was nice, stripes nicely matched but the shirt didn’t work for me. I returned it.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from great fabric I just received this in the mail and really like it. A boxy fit and the fabric is perfect. Like the description says-lighter than a sweatshirt but heavier than a tee. I won't be tugging and pulling at this top. It's a top that makes me feel comfortable. I think I'll get another one. I received the navy with cream stripe.
