    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tall size not long enough I'm 5'10" and about 190lbs, a tall size 14, 38B/C. I ordered an XL Tall in the light gray color, hoping it would fit a little oversized. As with most L.L. Bean clothes, the quality is great and the sweater feels like it'll last a long time. I would say this sweater fits an entire size small, feels thick and bulky (especially in the armpits... taller people usually need slightly longer, lower arm holes), and I wouldn't say the fit is exactly flattering. How could it be more flattering? I'd say longer arms by AT LEAST 2 inches, more room in the body, thinner yarn with a smaller knit, and make that crewneck opening less close to the neck. As soon as this thing gets washed it's going to shrink and those barely-long enough sleeves and body are going to shorten right up. I love L.L. Bean clothes but there have always been problems with the clothes being long enough for tall people. I love that you're offering more tall sizes now, but there aren't enough styles offered in tall and the longer lengths still need to be longer. I'd say 5'10" is average-tall for a woman, not mammoth-sized, and as a mid-sized woman as well, there are still so few options out there. Come on L.L. Bean, you can do it! Lengthen those sleeves so we can pop these sweaters into the dryer!

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from beautiful but fit is off beautiful. love the color (dark purple), pattern & weight. previously bought a regular: the fit is tight and the length short. this time i ordered a size larger and the tall, even though i’m not tall. it fits better and covers more of me but it’s still tight in the sleeves. even so, i like it.
