They are cut too large, beyond a comfortable fit that may be desirable, to a size that makes them look and feel bulky and baggy. I also suggest that they need a drawstring, without a tight elastic waist, which I wouldn’t want in sleep shorts, it’s nice to cinch shorts up when lounging.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Short pj pants with pockets disguised as boxers In my search for summer weight pj bottoms, I was reluctant to use customary, pocketless boxers, preferring lightweight, breathable pj pants, to cover my wizened legs. But the heat has come and my quest less persuasive. I find that these pocketed, above the knee boxers will do quite nicely. They are comfortable, wash well, and are a distinctive improvement over boxers.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Papery material, not soft cotton. Waist too large I typically wear a medium; sometimes a small. Size 31 waist. These are definitely made big/loose. It wasn't a close fit, these are definitely too big. Perhaps LLBean clothes just aren't made for athletic/fit builds. But size down if you are in between.
