    Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100% satisfied I'm a very picky clothes horse who has spent 40+ years in the men's clothing industry. I am totally satisfied with this shirt in every respect. I immediately thought of LL Bean when I found the need for a new flannel shirt. I live in Arizona, so didn't want one that was too heavy. This totally fits that bill. I like that it has a spread collar, instead of button-down. I also appreciate that LL Bean has chosen NOT to take the construction short cuts in it's shirts that many other (even higher priced) makers have in recent years. This shirt is well made, has a soft fabric and fits me perfectly. After washing it comes out beautifully. I chose to touch up the front placket and collar with a iron, but that was not 100% necessary.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Standards have gotten lower Not as nice as my 20+ year old American made LL bean shirts. Its still a nice shirt, but there's no way this new one will last as long. I'm happy to see its still made well with the patterns aligning nicely but... not as thick as my old ones that I wear all the time that somehow never stain. Ll bean should at least offer a couple shirts made in USA with USA materials. Its not the "made is USA" I care about, it is the quality.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Collar 2 inches too large This flannel shirt is Item No 515054 on the tag in size L-TALL, color plaid orange, navy with yellow crisscross. Bought at Freeport, MA store. Compared to previously owned LLBean T-Tall flannel shirts the neck size to about 2-in longer, see photo.. This results in a sloppy look collar when worn, exposing an undershirt. Great color and pattern, but poor fit, possibly mislabeled or faulty manufacturing.

It's perfect for business casual office use, doesn't feel too bulky or get too hot as some of the other flannel shirts can get. The untucked fit is great as well, looks very modern. I'm happy that LL Bean is taking a more modern tack, appealing to us younger folks. I ordered 4 other colors. More colors please!

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Gaping collar Disappointing fabric, but more importantly the neck/collar area seems too big and gapes open. I end up bottoming the upper button all the time. By the time you figure this all out you’ve worn and washed a few times. Not up to what I expect from Bean.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Shirt My husband loved this flannel shirt. The fit was perfect for him (6'0" 240 lbs). We purchased and XL Reg. The length is perfect for wearing outside of jeans. He liked that the flannel was not so thick that it made him sweat! The weight of the flannel is perfect for wearing a t-shirt underneath. My 3 son's-in law also LOVE these shirts. LLBean knows how size and fit!

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Size matters. The shirt is fine except it's way larger than advertised. I'm 6', 160lbs, and wear medium in casual shirts. This shirt is labeled "medium" - and "slightly fitted" no less. It was as at least as big as a large and was maybe closer to an extra-large. (The other shirt I bought from LL Bean at the same time, also "medium", fits fine.)
