        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watch the sizing, I would purchase again Bean’s take on the current horizontal color block fad sweeping the outdoor gear market features a more muted color palette than you see from other brands. I wasn’t sure I would like this one. However, in real life the result is very attractive: the color choices harmonize well. It is clearly designed to be a layering piece or light outer layer so not heavily insulated. A word on fit and size: I typically take a size XL in other outdoor brands that begin with the letter ‘A’ or ‘P,’ but after trying the jacket version in a Bean’s outlet store, I discovered to accommodate a single layer underneath that I was a medium. It does have a boxy cut and the medium is more fitted... which is how I like my vests. I’m a stocky size 44/36.
