Women's Waterproof Ultralight Down Coat is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 102.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Coat This coat is lightweight--thanks, I guess, to the singularly lightweight shell and to the turquoise down lining. It is also very warm without being overly bulky. The look is fairly trim, simple, straightforward --no embellishments. The zipper is plastic and works relatively well, though it's the Velcro closings that quite literally grab the coat shut. (I was surprised.) I found there is ample room for a heavy sweater. What surprised me is the length of the sleeves. They nearly reached my fingernails. I like the longer "jacket" length. The coat does make sounds, but not the deafening sort we have been enduring of late!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At last a jacket that fits! I've looked at many brands for a mid-thigh, water proof, warm, lightweight jacket with good styling. This was the winner. I ordered petite because the customer service folks said the only differences between regular and petite sizes were the length of the jacket and the sleeves and not the body of the jacket. They were spot on. I'm only 5'4" and weigh 120 with fairly broad shoulders, so I could not afford to lose inches around upper part of the jacket. It looks great! Haven't done the cold, wind, rain test yet, but the new downtex and pertex shield look and feel much better than heavier gortex on other jackets I have tried.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super lightweight and warm I got this for the East Coast winter weather. I’ve tried it on a rainy day of 30-40s, and it kept me warm enough with a layer of sweater underneath. It is indeed waterproof from when I tested it under moderate amount of rain. What I love is that it’s lightweight! Some feathers come out occasionally, so I’ll see if it becomes an issue with prolonged use over time. I wished it came in navy blue or gray, but the red color I got is not bad either. The waist part is a bit spacious, which some reviewers already commented on. Overall, it is practical, functional, and lightweight, and I would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect. What looks white on the internet is a lovely very light grey-blue. The size is just right with room for a very heavy sweater, the shoulders are not too tight, but without the sweater it doesn't look too big. Great length, long enough to keep you warm but not interfere with walking. Sleeves are long enough to help keep your hands warm. Just what I was looking to wear on long walks during the coldest months. I'm not looking forward to the days getting shorter and colder, but now that I have this parka I also not dreading it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm and comfy I got this jacket for outside winter walks, visits, and all the outside visiting related to COVID. It has been great, sheds water and dirt well (but not been in a downpour yet), and is very warm. I got a large and am able to wear multiple layers under it. I have broad shoulders and it the jacket still allows me to more my arms freely even with a warm layer under it. It is too warm for a long walk if the weather is not freezing. The color is duller or more subtle in person. I was hoping for a brighter color with more orange but it is a rust color in reality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, waterproof, and worth the cost! I bought this coat for a November trip to Scotland. We had cold rain but didn’t let that slow us down. I was comfortable and dry the whole time. I am 5’4”, 135 lbs and wore a medium comfortably over a heavy Irish sweater, and it was lightweight but so warm and dry. Tthe zipper worked great. The length kept my thighs dry while walking. There is no visor on the hood, but I wore it over a ballcap and was good to go. My family got tired of hearing me rave about this coat and how comfortable I was! This is my new number one coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Jacket, Runs Small! I am pretty consistently a medium in just about everything, but I had to go up a size in this for it to fit comfortably over my clothes. The medium zipped but just felt a bit confined. Large is perfect. This coat is super warm! I am on the shorter side and I like how it comes down to my knees (on a taller person it will be more mid-thigh length). The best thing about this coat is it's really warm and waterproof but without feeling bulky. I can actually DO things in this coat but still get the waterproof protection I need in the cold and rainy/snowy winter months. Very happy with this purchase. A nice, sleek looking all-around winter coat that is perfect for just about any east coast winter scenario.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from she adores it! I bought this as a gift for my sweetheart and she wears it all the time. Since roomier coats are more fashionable than not, I bought it in large, in the rust colour. It was not oversized on her build which may mean the coat runs small if you buy the regular size (she'd have bought a medium). She says it is windproof and waterproof -perfect for cambridge MA. The colour is a dusty shade of rust- it was exactly as my computer monitor showed it. The girl wears it and comes home shakes it out then takes a nap beneath it.
