        Rated 3 out of 5 by from PLEASE FIX THE POCKETS I love the overall shape and fit and fabric of this cardigan. It's almost everything I wanted in a lightweight, functional cardigan for my role as a hospital chaplain. However--the pockets barely fit my hands, and anything I put in them falls out right away--my phone, my debit card, my office key, etc. The lack of functional pockets makes the garment useless for me, and is a double annoyance when the Perfect Fit Pants (which match) also didn't have pockets. Patch pockets, or even simply deeper pockets with a little stitch at the bottom to prevent items from falling out, would make a world of difference here. Thanks!

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish pima cardigan I love this stylish, versatile and practical cardigan which is the perfect weight for Spring to Autumn. The material has a silky feel and is the weight of a tee shirt jersey. I had gotten the button version for my mom and when she asked for another, i was thrilled to find this style which is longer and has pockets. She had complained button cardis can be too short to wear over some tops. I ordered multiple cardigans (black, blue, plum) plus some coordinating short sleeve tees to avoid disappointment if colors become backordered or sold out. All this plus prompt shipping. The past few years the cardigans had slits in the back which never stayed closed, strange silhouettes that were longer and curved in the back and ran extremely large. I love the pockets and straight lines of this year’s version. I usually buy a medium because I wear them over the Pima Standup Necks or Crews. The Pima line tends to shrink if thrown in the dryer. If they’re a perfect fit, I will hang to dry. If they are too large, they will go in the dryer on lowest setting. Thanks LLBean!

I wanted something to cover my arms for those days when the ac decides to work. It is easy to put on and take off, has nice pockets and doesn't look like a granny sweater. It looks professional enough for our fairly casual workplace. It is not bulky. Machine washable. I have a pink, a black and I just bought the navy blue one. Goes with everything and is very comfortable. I might get the purple one after it is back in stock.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This is a great, lightweight cardigan going into autumn. I purchased the rich forest green, a color not easy to find. I am 5'2", 38C chest, and the PXL is perfect. Pockets are a big plus. Experience tells me that LLB pima cotton items tend to lose the lovely silky hand when laundered, and they also decrease in length. Hoping that - with extra care - it doesn't happen this time.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love them! I have been getting Pima cotton cardigans and shirts - long sleeve, crewneck or jewel neck - for years. I get 1 or 2 matching sets - my uniform -every year and wear them spring, summer and fall. They have survived beautifully and I can’t imagine getting a better quality for my money. The only improvement I would suggest is to make a cardigan in the Butter yellow! I get the large size but they are a bit too large. I just prefer that. The medium is a better fit for me if I want something fitted. Thanks for making a super product consistently over the years.

I had high hopes that this cardigan would be the ideal lightweight layer for warmer months and I ordered my normal LL Bean size. I am broad-shouldered with a large bust but trimmer waist and usually need a large for my shoulders. However, this cardigan felt too big all over. The sleeves were slightly too long as well. Worn with the v-neck tee, instead of a nice, neat twin set look, I felt frumpy. I'm going to keep the tee but send the cardigan back.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great collar, nice length and drape, soft! I need to wear solid black for many work tasks. This is my favorite cardigan. Clean look. Cotton is very soft; nice mid-to-light weight (not see-through; not hot and bulky). Fading is minimal (frequent washing). The collar lays VERY nicely, fabric doesn't wrinkle, drape is nice and it falls at low hip (covers back if I reach up or bend). My first one wore out after 1 year of daily use (including daily washes)--developed a hole in an elbow. I now have two, a large and a medium. I like the large a little better for the longer sleeves. Pockets are so-so but I'd miss them if they weren't there- shallow and anything with weight (a car key and half-dollar size key chain will shift how it hangs). A small clasp/pin keeps the front closed while walking--will flare out if walking quickly.
