    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed in L L Beans loss of quality I bought a pair of these pants about a month ago. I needed some pants to to layer for the cold in the northeast and to throw on whenever. They are a great fit and very comfortable. So comfortable I bought another pair recently. However after a month of light wear the fabric has small holes and is cinching at the knee. This is incredibly disappointing, especially considering the 70 dollar price tag. I am seriously considering returning the recently purchased pants as well. I have an L.L.Bean jacket that my father gave me that he wore in the 90s. The jacket is older than I am but is of higher quality and is in better condition than these new pants. Beware of the new Bean.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Designed - Almost Perfect Decent and sufficiently deep pockets to accommodate my XR phone and car keys so they don't fall out. I like the zippered pocket for holding and securing my combination money-clip wallet. Other similar pants I have are designed with an inconveniently placed "cargo" pocket near the knee and therefore don't use. I am also happy they don't have tapered legs. So good that I've decided to buy another pair. The only thing I think would make them perfect is a cord lock for the waist. Tying and untying corded waists is a tad inconvenient and admittedly I've somehow managed to knot them up pretty well, but we'll chalk this up to operator error.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good pants, could have been great I bought three pair of these pants as soon as I saw that they come in 28 inch length. They are lightweight for summer days and offer some sun protection. With two changes, they could be great: 1) The "standard" fit sits below the waist; I am constantly pulling my pants up, which makes them look short. How about a pant that sits where it belongs -- at the waist? 2) The drawstring sits outside the pants instead of inside where they belong. Why would anyone design a pant with a drawstring that hangs outside from your waist? I like these pants and recommend them. But these two things strike me as design flaws.

I have been looking for an "athleisure" pant just like this to this with a lower price point. The material is light and comfortable. Happy to see the 34" inseam option for tall guys like myself. The colors are great. I purchased all 3. 10/10 would recommend

These pants are absolutely fantastic in so many ways including a “faux cuff” bottom and a Well added second zippered pocket inside of the right full pocket which is terrific for cell phones and or small wallet. The lightweight fabric is outstanding and the pants wash and dry very easily with me real shrinkage to speak of. I loved the first pair I purchased so much I quickly ordered two additional colors. These pants make it very easy for me to find other homes for almost ALL of my other khakis and jeans. They take up so little space and you can pack 3 pairs for travel and not add the weight of one pair of jeans! I only wish they would add a subdued/ brick Red color to the line-up.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from I live in these pants. I gave these to my son as a Christmas gift, so asked him to do the review. Here it is: These are so comfortable - my favorite pants. I really like the way the ankles fit closely. I am a drummer and am behind the drums a lot. These are my go-to pants when I am practicing as they don't bind and allow me freedom of movement. I also like them for running errands, relaxing around the house and I've even worn them to bed! The pockets are handy, I put my wallet in the back pocket and appreciate the zipper which makes me feel more secure about not losing my wallet.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from These pants are so very comfortable and look nice! These pants are very comfortable. I ordered 2 pair in different colors for my husband. He has Parkinson’s. Some days start out well but end up with difficulty walking and getting around and he must lay down. The pants hold up to all of that and look good for going for Dr. appointments too! He’s getting more colors for Christmas! These pants wash and dry extremely well and look like they just came out of the package. I am very happy with this purchase. This man was a Forester for 40 years. He wore Bean Boots every day he went to work!! We love our LLBean!!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptionally comfortable pants Very comfortable, light weight pants. Excellent for hiking, but might not be durable enough if scrambling over rocks. I especially like that there are no hook&loop type pocket closures (which tend to wear out, collect lint and fibers, and damage other clothing they “grab” on to); just a snap closure on the back pocket and a handy zipper closure pocket on top of the right hand side. I also like that the pockets are not made from the open mesh type of material previous versions had, and thus seemed to wear out long before the body of the pants started to show any wear.
