Men's Mountain Classic Jacket, Multi Color is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 99.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A colorfully stylish and lightweight jacket I liked the variety of colors in this jacket and gave it a try. It is a very thin, unstructured, lightweight jacket with no lining. I can't assess how water repellant it is, as I haven't had to wear it in the rain yet. The texture of the fabric is soft and supple, it does not have the stiffness or rubbery quality of a more protective rain jacket. I normally wear a Large size in T shirts and similar clothes, but this jacket is a snug fit in Medium for me. I think a Large size would look and feel too bulky for me; I prefer a fitted look. If you want extra warmth you should probably try the version with a lining. This is more like a hodded overshirt than a protective jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, classic light jacket Wonderful jacket that stands up to LL Bean quality standards! Bold colors, got an immediate compliment out on a walk. Fit is true with a slight tailored feel - arm holes are a bit higher which is great for range of motion and no under-arm bagginess in the sleeves. Perfect length and nice, roomy hood. Repels light rain well, but didn't test it out in a soaker - it is water resistant, not water proof but on a walk in light rain I did not come in wet. All details are classic and cool, down to the Bean boot lace drawstrings. Love the hidden pocket. Fits well against body and zipper seems quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Throwback This article of clothing has garnered the most compliments of any garment that I own. People seem to love it. It's light and unlined – which I prefer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn’t fit up to American or LLBean standards If llbean were to track my history they would find that a. I have been a loyal customer for many years; sometimes I feel like a walking spokesperson for the company. I often buy multiples of things either in different colors or to keep at different homes and b. I don’t think I have ever complained or even returned an item. This particular jacket I’m not so sure of. It looks good style wise but the fit seems more like a large, not even an extra large. I typically buy xxl With jackets so that I can layer up. This jacket is uncomfortable with just a tee shirt on. It’s as if somebody trimmed off an inch or more from every measurement when cutting the pattern I have the quilted lined version of this jacket without any of the problems, one would think that the lined version might be more snug. Finally, the zipper, when zipped up comes undone at the bottom. Maybe I just received a defective piece that along with it’s bad zipper was also mislabeled as an xxl.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits nicely. Not too small. Not too baggy. I like the colors with the royal blue sleeves and yellow pockets. The jacket is thin but helps cut the wind and should be decent for moderate temperatures or layering. It's a little loose on me but the drawstrings at the bottom helps to make it fit well. I also like the zipper pocket. Although, I kind of thought that both of the pockets were zip up from the photo. I was hit with a snowball and the pockets filled with snow and melted. So put your phone in the zip up pocket if you want to keep it dry in a light/medium rain or sand out at the beach. I'd probably wear something else for a heavy rain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect light jacket/rain coat A note for people like me who normally buy mediums in other brands: if you have wide shoulders you'll need a large in LL Bean, they tend to fit tighter in the shoulders and arms. That said, this is absolutely the ideal jacket for spring, summer, and fall, and a great water repellant outer layer for winter if you have a fleece underneath. Really love the colors, I got the green, blue, and red and it's gorgeous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good design I like the simplicity - not dozens of pockets - and the hood is large enough to cover headwear, and to deflect wind from the front as much as possible. The fabric seems to breathe better than the currently popular coated types (e.g. DWR), which go cold and clammy when the wearer sweats. Note: I wear it over insulating layers, which is why the X-large fits.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An absolute must. One of my favorite purchases in a long time. Thank you to LL Bean, for they have completely made me lose hope in any other brand. It’s that good!
