    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Yellow has issues This relates to the yellow one only - and I didn’t keep it long enough to be able to speak to warmth/comfort. But the outer fabric is light colored (obviously) and the inner fabric is a navy blue with patterns. The problem is that in all the spots where there is not a layer of fluff between the two (mostly at seams, but also other random places where the down has shifted so there are bare areas), the dark lining shows through, and makes it look like the yellow jacket is dirty in those places. I’m not above wearing dirty jackets, but this was obviously going to look like this all the time, and was obvious enough that it was the first thing both my husband and daughter mentioned when seeing the coat. I love a yellow coat, but returned this one.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sizing was off. The jacket was hardly a petite. The sleeves were way too long. I normally order petite sizes from LL Bean with few sizing problems. I wound up with the Down Sweater as it fit better.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Down fill shows through The gold colored jacket i ordered was pretty except that the dark inside lining or the fill showed through along the seams to the outside making it look like its dirty. I returned it for that reason.

I might have been able to purchase a S instead of M, but I wanted it large enough for heavy layers beneath to work in our coldest temps. It will work well in both cool and very cold outdoor activity. Just one rather odd thing about it... the zipper is 'backwards' from any jacket I've ever had. It's hard to explain but the 'zip mechanism' and placket are opposite. But it works just fine.. And I'm happy with it.
