    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful shorts It was recommended to us by an occupational therapist that we purchase drawstring waist shorts for someone who was in rehab following surgery. It would be easier to re-learn how to dress with this type of short than the usual kind that requires a belt. The fabric is great and these shorts will last long after the person has recovered and resumed usual activities.

In between then and now, I stumbled upon LL Bean's dock shorts and tried them out. Super lucky for me, my first purchase was with a couple colors on clearance that happened to be the colors I liked the most. Easily I found everything to like about LL Bean's dock shorts. They're comfortable, not too big, not too small. The pockets are nicely fitted and I enjoy switching it up with the drawstring waist from my other button/zipper shorts. I've gone back a couple more times and now have 3 solid colors and 2 print dock shorts. It all started with that first pair of dock pants though. I highly recommend this line to anyone who thinks they might enjoy them. I certainly do. The shorts are comfortable all summer. I never find them to be too warm or to hold much heat, so they're nicely breathable and not heavy. I can't say enough of about them.
