Rated 1 out of 5 by MissyT from Extemely Small Fit I loved the concept of this jacket and ordered it for a trip to Europe in the fall. However, the sleeves are extremely tight. I can wear between a 2x and 3x normally so I went with the 3x so it would leave room for a sweater or layered top underneath. I was barely able to get my arms into the coat and no way to move in it. I had my husband even try it on and he said the sizing in the arms and shoulder is way off compared to the rest of the jacket size. I would have ordered a size up but it only goes to a 3x. Very disappointing. I am returning this jacket ASAP. Either make the jacket correct sizing or make larger size options.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Traveler from So Disappointed I purchased this to replace my previous LL Bean rain jacket which has the lining peeling away but has lasted for years. I saw this one was fitted, but figured it would be slimmer through the torso which was ok since my current jacket is roomy. I could barely squeeze my arms in the sleeves, however it zipped just fine around my hips. The arms are disportionately out of size with the rest of the jacket. I loved my other jacket and it has traveled with me through 6 different countries. LL Bean please work on your sizing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by LLBeanFan from Not like the Former Quality I am very displeased with the changes to this great product. The fit on the new jacket is WAY too small compared to the older, roomy, excellent product. The colors are too muted for me to be seen out walking in rainy, dreary Western Washington. And what's with a "fitted" rain jacket? I want room to put my usual light fleece under the jacket. The zip chest pocket is nice, though. I promptly returned this item and hope you'll bring your previous design back. I have 3 of them and will only use these now. I would have to buy a 3X in this product to have the room I had in the 1X in the past, or even the Large. PLEASE bring back the bright colors and the past sizing, which was more generous and comfortable. Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by xomomo from Raincoat This lightweight raincoat is perfect in every way except the sleeves...they are so tight that I could only wear a thin short-sleeved tee underneath and I nearly froze to death! I should have heeded the other reviews saying the sleeves were too tight, but I really loved the look of this coat. You would think the designers would know that a woman who wears a 2X probably has fat arms! I'm going to keep it with the hope that I can lose enough weight for it to fit comfortably, but I must say I'm disappointed in the design. Great color though!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tricia from Size Up! I had the older trail model rain coat in an XL, and I had room to wear multiple layers underneath comfortably. When I ordered this raincoat, I listened to the other reviews, and sized up to a 1X. The rain coat fits, and defintely repels water, however, the arms and chest are tighter than I would have expected, so if you have a larger chest or arms, expect it to be much tighter than the older model.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FluffyHiker from Good only if you can size up Seems to be made well in terms of quality material. However, it's definitely snug. I read other reviews that warned it would run small. I normally wear a 3x to make sure the arms are loose enough, so I couldn't size up but decided to risk it. It fits, but barely. My upper arms are like sausages in this thing. If your arms are on the larger side, definitely order up. Otherwise, you won't be comfortable. This jacket is a great length on my long torso (not too short, as jackets typically are on me). Arm length was perfect. Waist and chest are a little snugger than typical fit but not too bad. That upper arm width though.....there's no way I can layer under this jacket. I wish it had a double zipper. I ordered the "yellow" and the color is great. Not too green and not too yellow - right in the middle yet not neon. Love the color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Skylights from Great Fall Jacket I purchased this in the yellow in a size larger than I usually wear since it was said to be fitted. I really like the jacket. It is a tiny bit large, but I can fit sweaters and layers underneath. It has velcroed wrist tabs which I use since the sleeves are slightly long. There are adjustments, a hood, and pockets that make this very versatile. We had a lot of rain this winter and temperatures were between 35-50 most of the time so this was all I needed. One of my best fall purchases.
