Rated 5 out of 5 by DebD from cool and so comfortable this is my favorite tee for hot outdoor days. So far I've climbed dusty hills in Peru, mountains in Glacier NP, enjoyed urban hikes in Austin and San Antonio, as well as lots of strolls in the neighborhood...and the tee is just right. Cool, but some protection from the sun. Also very soft, packs beautifully, and the V-neck is comfortable and flattering. It's too casual for work, but that wasn't my goal. I'm pleased to see more colors this season because it's getting embarrassing - I'm wearing the blue or the pink in nearly all of my travel photos from the past year!

Rated 4 out of 5 by rural6 from Not for grownups Looks bad due to unfinished vneck hem. It’s nothing I’d wear in public. I don’t like ragged edges and the vneck being unfinished is hard to miss. Too bad, because I was so happy LLB had a new Vneck tee! Might be perfect for the younger set who enjoy lettuce edge or torn edge knits. Haven’t washed it so can’t comment on size or durability. Please just bring back the Pima vneck tees, and unshrinkable vnecks. Long sleeve, short and elbow sleeve. Face it- BabyBoomers are a big market and we shop LLB! Would it hurt you guys to just maintain the classic items we love — and BUY?

Rated 5 out of 5 by PERICH from Cool summer comfort I love these organic cotton V-neck shirts. The cut works well for me, and I love the lightness of the fabric. This shirt seems slimmer than the ones I ordered last year, but overall, it's still a good fit. I would love a red one for the fall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kate from Very comfortable I have a tough time finding knit shirts that fit. I have an hourglass shape, and often a large is too big around the armholes and neckline, but tight around the hips. I like a fitted shirt so they're not so sloppy. This shirt is slightly fitted, the armholes fit nicely, and it's not tight around the hips at all. It didn't seem to shrink from the dryer. It is pretty wrinkled coming out, but I iron almost all my clothes (lots of cotton knits) so that's not a deal breaker for me. I have 2 colors, ordered another, and may order more colors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PDXSAHMOM from Okay, but... This is a nice slub shirt and I like the softer neckline. I wish the shirt had a bit more shape to it (e.g. flair at bottom) to compliment a woman's hip lines. It's pretty much straight down...who is built like that after the age of 30?? I'm always looking for a good V neck and they're hard to find nowadays. This is one of my favorites out there. I'm a small with other brands, but the XS in Bean is always better for me...so its a touch small in the shoulders. The S is a bit too boxy in the body (I'm pretty much flat chested and rather thin for a 40+ yo.)

Rated 1 out of 5 by PhxBean from Boxy fit, very sheer fabric I should have heeded the poor reviews and the comments about the thin fabric. However, I haven't had a problem with slub or textured cotton tees in the past, either from LLBean or from other merchants. I expect them to be irregular in texture and therefore lighter weight than a regular cotton tee. But this "Organic Cotton Tee" was beyond lightweight; it was sheer! I bought it navy, grey, and white, and even the navy was too sheer to wear alone. The fit was also awkward; it wasn't loose so much as strange and boxy, even accounting for my having sized up to a S from my usual LLBean XS (5'3" 115#). This shirt was so promising in the photos but was a huge disappointment in reality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beanfan from Nice, but not fabulous I did need a size smaller, and I believe the listing says they run large. And the quality seems good, though I've not washed them yet. They seem nice and comfy, but not crazy about the texture. But oh, dear LL Bean, how I have watched & waited in vain every year for your smoother "featherweight" 100% Cotton tees to come back - the tees you made that were to be worn in two layers of different colors, but in severe heat I wear just ONE - that fabric is so very smooth. I guess women want heavier tee shirts, though in hot weather I don't. I keep ordering "featherweight" tees from other companies, but those OTHERS are so cheaply made and NOT LL Bean quality or comfort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by kiki from disappointed I love these shirts but every one I have bought in the past two years develops little holes after the first or second wear! I have sent two back already! I have much less expensive shirts from other stores that do not have this problem ! I think women tend to pull shirts down over waist and perhaps a wonderful company like LLBean should make the material a bit stronger.in that area. pretty disappointing!
