        Rated 2 out of 5 by from Once again disappointed Once again, I am disappointed with the quality of LL Bean t-shirts. They were always my go to. Last year I bought a shirt like this in a different color and it was great. This t-shirt is much, much thinner and has a less than ideal fit.

        Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fabric was cut off-grain, flimsy neckline I ordered the sale color, pale violet. Putting it on, I found that the fabric had been cut at a bit of an angle, off-grain, unusual treatment for an interlock. Moreover, the thread from which the very thin fabric was knit did not have an even color, so there was a mild striping effect across the front, at a shallow angle. The neckline was stretchy and flimsy. The very edge of the neckline consisted of a seamed-on strip of the same thin fabric as the rest, with an unfinished edge, which was insecurely rolled under rather than fastened down. As a result of both issues, the bias cut and flimsy neck, the garment hung oddly and tended to twist. Even more so when I tried it under an open jacket. It was also a little big for me, but that could have been remedied by exchange; the overall construction can't. Not what I expect from LL Bean. Returned.

        Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for hot weather I’ve worn these organic cotton tees since LL Bean introduced them, and wear them from April thru Nov because they are so lightweight and cooling. I gave the tees 4 stars because they work for me, but I size up, line dry only and understand I’ll need to replace every year or 1.5 years. I agree with others who commented on the very thin fabric and wish LL Bean would find new vendors. Navy and other basic colors are needed, too.
