        Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Athletic Vest Really good vest for an athletic, outdoor person -- great fit, great quality. I agree with other reviewers, the hood is done incorrectly. The designers should have either had a seamless connection to the collar, not had a hood, or made it removable -- its odd in its current state. As for the panels on the side other have commented on -- these are standard on comparable high-end outdoor/athletic vests. In fact they are needed to get the perfect fit, allowing a person to move freely or unrestricted (enabling function and form in a vest). If you only want form, probably don't buy from an "adventure" company. Great vest -- definitely recommend!

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the color I had to order two of these because the XL was nice but very busty in that it felt like it poked out under the arms and felt too large. The black inserts on the sides are stretchy. If you are larger in the top area then go for it. I ended up with the large and it's perfect. I love the color. One thing I will add is don't expect a thick vest. This is ultra thin. Perfect to wear those sweaters over. If you shop and get hot in stores you will like this because you won't sweat it in. Love the length. Wish the hood was able to take off but it isn't. I will get alot of wear out of it. Customer service was good too.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very cute, but too large I love this vest but I am returning it for a regular large. The regular XL was too big. My measurements are 45 hips,38 waist,44 bust. I wear an extra large or sometimes a 2xl in a lot of clothes so I was surprised that this fit big. I don’t like my clothes tight either but this vest has the stretchy sides so it should be somewhat form fitting. It was huge under my arms and stuck out and when I tried it in with a thick hoodie it was still really big. I had about 2” of extra room all around. The length coved my butt perfectly. If your in between sizes I would definitely go down a size. I plan on wearing this with thick sweaters and hoodies under it and I still needed to downsize.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Absolute Favorite clothing item I bought this on a whim at one of the outlets on a visit to Maine. It has turned out to be the best purchase. I wear it year round in Idaho , it is lightweight so it can be an easy light layer, but also warm enough to wear in the winter with other layers. It fits over multiple layers but doesnt look sloppy when it is just a vest over a dress for me in warmer months. I love the length which is a bit longer and works nicely for those of us who dont like waist cut coats and vests, it covers my rear, the fit and the feel are perfect. I am tempted to buy back up in case this one ever dies but it is on its 3rd year of very regular wear, with no signs of failing.

        Rated 4 out of 5 by from ALMOST perfect Two changes would make this a 10 star! First, the fit us great! The stretchy side panels move with me but keep the vest snug but not tight. Great for those of us with a bit mire hip than we'd like. Planning on using as an extra layer when traveling and this vest is lightweight and packable. Improvements that would make the vest everything I could hope for 1) removable hood, since I'm often wearing under a coat that already has a hood, this extra hood is often in the way. Also if its clear but cold, I don't want the hood. 2) the inside of the collar could be lined with a softer fabric. Once I warm up the fabric is sticky.

        Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hood too large and 2 way zipper a challenge Very nice vest except that the hood is too large -- meaning that when the hood is actually worn it extends forward so far that one's view is completely obstructed and one looks ridiculous. There is a toggle adjustment by the neck on each side of the hood that allows for the hood to be tightened around the face. However there is no toggle adjustment that allows the crown to be reduced so that it better conforms to the head and allows free vision. If you do not plan to ever wear the hood then that might not be a problem. However I was specifically looking for a hooded vest and this does not work for me. I also found the 2 way zipper hard to align. Overall this vest did not work for me and I am returning it.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Primaloft Perfection I love the primaloft vests in both the long and regular length style, wearing them through the year as even in summer along the Great Lakes there are cool evenings. These are a perfect warm layer in colder weather under a jacket or coat without adding bulk, especially in the sleeves. The vintage lavender color is lovely, matching the cabin stretch shirt in sailcloth/vintage lavender, or for a little dressier occasion liking it with a black top, or the muted lavender color in the selection of pima tops. I hope in the future this longer length will be offered in a color such as royal plum or a deep burgundy.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE ❤️ I just got this and don’t want to take it off! It’s very flattering and I love the length! Being 5’9 and not skinny, it’s hard to find a vest that is long enough and doesn’t make me look fluffy. This covers my belly and my butt. It’s nice and warm too. I hate wearing a coat at the airport but you need to have something with you in case you get chilly. This will go on every trip with me in the future! I am going to Amsterdam in Early September, and will look sharp in this vest when it cools down in the evening. If I don’t need it, no problem, it packs small!
