Men's L.L.Bean Stretch Country Corduroy Pants, Classic Fit Plain-Front is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 227.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Inconsistent Sizing The "classic fit" on these cords is not consistent with the same fit on the jeans. I ordered a pair of jeans and a pair of the sepia cords. I have other jeans in the classic fit from LL Bean so I knew that was the correct fit. The jeans were the same as usual. The cords were not even close, quite a bit smaller in the back, rise, thigh, and waist. Aren't your patterns consistent? I also don't understand why LL Bean doesn't sell these pants (or the jeans) with a boot cut for men. The bottom of the leg is too narrow for nice size boots. You would think that a company that sells boots would sell pants with a boot cut, right?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice cords I ordered these with a 35-inch waist; they actually measure about 36", which is not too big of a discrepancy between tag and actual size. The material is very comfortable and warm, as corduroy tends to be. The pants do stretch slightly but not excessively. The wales in the corduroy are not small, but mid-sized, which I think is great for adding more texture to the appearance. The fit is indeed "classic," which is to say it's a balance between relaxed and slim; maybe a shade more on the relaxed size. I opted for the Sepia color, which is a really nice warm mid-brown color and looks great with almost anything; I expect the Loden color would be similarly excellent. Recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pants Excellent corduroys, stylish, durable, & very comfortable. They are my everyday pants, I bought the sepia color, & have worn them almost every day for about a month now. High quality zipper is hard to find on a pair of pants these days, these have that. I've bought levi's, duluth trading co, dickies etc. but have had problems with all of them. I haven't had any problems with my pair from LL Bean. May buy some more in the future. Would buy a pair if they came in grey.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from color Very comfy and warm. Looks quite stylish too. However the green color is much darker in real life. You can’t really tell the color apart from the charcoal unless it’s under direct sun light

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stretch corduroy pants. I have been an L.L. Bean customer for most of my life. They were always the gold standard for quality clothes at a fair price . I was therefore saddened by the quality of these pants as another example of the dumbing down of quality by long time quality clothing retailers. The pants ,the only corduroys offered, are thinner, more jeans like and lacking in details like rear pocket flaps. In contrast to those of only a few years ago I would not wear then other than as "work clothes".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these pants To start - I’m already a LL Bean khaki pant power user. The classic fit slims my portly frame and they continue to wear well after repeated washes. These corduroy pants are much nicer than their khaki counterparts! Are they truly designer corduroys? No. Are they classy enough for client meetings, concerts, church, or dinner with friends (when we can do those things again)? You bet your wale they are. I’ve washed them a few times (inside out - per the wash instructions) and the pants are as good as new. I recommend them so much that I’ll buy another pair before winter is over.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointing the quality of country cords has declined over the past few years, which makes me wonder if you aren't planning to discontinue this line. quality of the material-definitely not as good as previously. button instead of metal clasp at the waist. no change pocket in the right front pocket. the only good point is that they fit. I would switch to Land's End, but their cords are cut too tight in the seat. I will keep looking for a better buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit and finish are fine These cords are the closest LL Bean has come to the old dependable Double L Cords on which I used to depend. The wale is about the same, but they're made of lighter weight fabric. For many customers, that may be an advantage, but I liked the rugged feel of the Double L's. This is what I wear all winter (with a blazer if necessary).
