Rated 5 out of 5 by from PLEASE BRING BACK THIS SHIRT! Please bring back this shirt! I truly am surprised it has been discontinued. I used to be a Misses' Medium and then when the cut changed I switched to the Petite Medium because the Misses' was too long. The new cut was growing on me--less boxy and stayed pulled down well. I liked the old original boxy cut best, but it did need to be just a little bit longer. Either way, I find this shirt to be the most flattering tee on me from the L.L. Bean line. I really like the fabric. I have many of them from different seasons, but it is always nice to get some new ones for spring/summer. So disappointed that I can't replenish...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit has changed I've worn these shirts for years and the two I just received were longer and more fitted than previous ones I've purchased. It's been over a year since I last ordered any shirts so sometime during that 1-1 1/2 yrs the design changed. My weight is not a factor, in fact I've lost 10 lbs, so for a medium in this style to be too tight on me was a surprise. I kept the black shirt since it was wearable but the white one in the same size and style was returned since it was too tight. Maybe mis-sized?? I still like the material but not sure I'll buy more if the fit is going be different between colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good shirt, but... I've had this shirt before and wanted another one. But...what's with the wimpy colors? I'm a winter and look best in strong colors. What happened to red red? Where's blue blue? Green green hasn't been seen for years (once in a while in men's polo shirts, but that's it). Black is always available, so that's what I buy. This shirt is a V-neck. I like V-necks, but apparently they're out of fashion now. Earth to Bean: some people buy clothes because the old ones wore out, not because they just have to have the latest color or style. I used to be able to depend on LLBean. The quality is there, but not the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A favorite I purchased 5 of these shirts recently for the v-neck style, the fit, the length, the fabric, and, easy care. Yes, they are longer than some of the other tee shirts but I appreciate that because they can be tucked in pants and/or shorts and stay tucked in or they can be worn out without looking sloppy. The sizing is consistent on all the shirts I purchased and they are made very well. I wash them on the delicate cycle in cold water and hang to dry. I iron them but it's not necessary if they're removed immediately from the washer. I hope LLBean continues to offer these shirts because they are perfection, in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Say it isn't so! I bought numerous tees in the V-neck last year in various colors. They quickly became my favorite shirts. I wanted to order more this year because I've lost weight, and the previous size is now too big and baggy. I was prepared to place a sizable order with multiple colors, only to find this shirt is no longer available in the V-neck. LL Bean, why? This style is a staple for many women and I can't fathom why you would discontinue this. Please rethink this decision and bring back this great tee! I have some crew necks but frankly they are better suited for work (I'm a nurse), not for date night or other get togethers with friends. The V-neck is much more flattering. Please fix this LL Bean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the material, length, color, but does shrink I now own three of these. The material is silky soft and not super thin like a lot tops these days. I have the white, teal and coral rose. These are long, but that is what I wanted so I love the length! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that they do shrink. I measured the purple one before and after washing. Center back length before 26 inches, after 24.5 inches. Armpit to armpit 21 inches before and 20 inches after. Slight shaping to waist, 19.5 inches before, 19 inches after. I also have two of the pima tunics. They are cut a little looser and I like them even more!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too long, too tight, flimsy material I have worn the L L Bean V-neck t-shirts for years and was disappointed when they discontinued them and very excited when I saw that they had brought them back! However, my excitement turned to disappointment when I tried this on. I bought the same size of t-shirt that I usually get from L L Bean but this item runs very tight and fits like a second skin. It is extraordinarily long, covering all of your hips and then some. Finally, the fabric is much thinner and more flimsy than the quality I have been getting from L L Bean for so many years. VERY disappointing!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Very Long I purchased several of these in the past, was happy with them, and wanted more. However, when I read they were being made longer, I called Bean to get exact lengths (sadly, Bean neither gives this info on website nor gives height of its models). The misses I had ordered in the past sounded like it would be way too long, so I ordered a petite, which sadly was also way too long. It came down to my lower hip/thigh, even though I am almost 5'6". I don't look good in long t-shirts, nor do I like bunching all that extra fabric up around the top of my hips, waist. Returned.
