Rated 4 out of 5 by Str8aero from Great fitting jeans I'm a pretty hefty guy at 6' and ~255lbs. Tried the Relaxed fit first, but they were too roomy for my taste. Ordered the Natural fit and I am very pleased with the overall fit. Very comfortable with just enough room everywhere without being too baggy. My only issue is I wish they weren't quite as tapered as they are. The leg openings are big enough to fit over boots, but they are a little narrower than the name brand jeans I have been used to. My wife also thought the leg was tapered just a bit too much... a bit straighter would have been better for me. But, that didn't stop me from ordering 2 more pairs!

Rated 2 out of 5 by hoob from Quality dropped a lot in recent years Up until a few years ago these jeans were solid and reliable. Recent pairs I've ordered seem to come with a much thinner material than normal -- already worn out and threadbare at wear spots after less than 2 years. Also the belt loops are much worse now, used to be the regular 7 loops but to "increase profits" LLB removed the two loops at your hips, meaning the pants shift all over the place under active use. No more bean jeans for me until they reverse their obvious decontenting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanerX from I Love These Jeans Not to go all Ballmer-esque on you, but I love these jeans. They fit well (on my 5' 6" body,) they feel great and they look great too. The pockets are big enough to be useful. I even like the zipper. Yes, I love these jeans. One thing, gentlemen: These are not your teenager's jeans. We're not 16 anymore. We're not on The Gap mailing list. These are Dad jeans. If you can get past that ... these are great! Note on delivery: I ordered these on Thursday night and they were delivered to me the next afternoon! Granted, I live in the Boston area, which is not that far from Freeport, but even so, that's fast. If you live in California, maybe not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SPIBeachLover from LL BEAN to the Rescue. As Always. It's 6 pm Wednesday. I find out I need no-warning surgery and need to travel to a much colder city to get it. We are still wearing shorts here. Really need a pair of jeans. Try to order on line, but it tells me that even with express delivery, since I live on an island, it'll be 3 days. I only have 2. Call LL Bean. They promise me 2-day delivery. Doorbell rings at 5:30 Friday. Not only did they arrive, but they are exactly what I wanted, and they fit perfectly. (As always.) THANKS, Folks! I don't just buy at LL Bean for the incredible quality. I also buy for the incredible reliability and incredible service. (And, yeah. The jeans really are all they said they would be.)

Rated 2 out of 5 by Geronimo from Double L Jeans, natural fit The quality and weight of the fabric has changed. I have ordered many pairs of LL Beans double L jeans. Always great, always. Some months ago I ordered another pair and was disappointed as to the weight of the denim. Much lighter. I thought - there must be some mistake - so I compared them to my older jeans. They are lighter. I ordered another pair last month, believing , that I was just unlucky with this pair. Same light weight denim was promptly delivered. I am wearing them at this very moment and I felt the difference when I went out this cold December day. Disappointing merchandise from an old friend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by billintn from Quality reduced This is the third time over the past few years that i have ordered these jeans. These jeans seem lighter in weight and thickness than those in the past. I ordered the dark wash jeans because they always fade with repeated washing's. These are soft but don't appear to have been prewashed at all. They definitely don't look like the picture of the dark washed jeans.I will have to see how these new jeans hold up as compared to the ones from a few years ago before I decide to order more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by erljmk from Khaki version.. just acceptable I don't know if it is the 'natural' cut, and/or something about the khaki material, but I cannot get very enthusiastic about these. While around the waist and hips seems fine (after washing), I find that something around the knees makes me always aware of wearing them. They are too snug there, and bind and pull when I bend or squat. The material - about 25% lighter than its denim version - is light enough for summer comfort, but after a few hours of wear they bag shapelessly, looking cheap. They just do not drape properly. So, all in all: meh! I will need denims soon, and am not sure that I will take another chance on this model.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ColoradoNative from Grandpa Jeans? P** Wee Herman Jeans? Despite my 60+ years, I don't want to dress like a grandpa--or P** Wee Herman. (Yes, the website won't let me spell out the word.) Unfortunately, that's what these jeans made me look like. The rise is much too long, giving me the choice of having excess material between my legs or hiking the waist up to my belly button. Neither is a great look, I've returned these jeans.
