      Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs to be machine washable It is wild to me that this insert is not machine washable, or have a thin waterproof cover that can be washed. The denim cover is great and has lasted through many washes, but it’s not waterproof and the insert has now been peed on, puked on, etc and cannot be cleaned thoroughly. Just feels like a money grab to have to order another.

We do not recall how many years, we had to replace original insert which from use by 3 different dogs had taken on a shape and consistency very different than it originally had. The new one seems much appreciated by our current dog. The denim cover seems as it will last forever.

      Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed We have bought many of these bed inserts over the years and have always been quite happy with them. This last one was not nearly the quality. It probably has 2/3 the stuffing as those in the past. I could probably put 2 of these inserts in the cover to make it comfortable for our Chesapeake Bay retriever. Too much of a hassle to send it back so I put it away for a future back up. Disappointed.

      Rated 3 out of 5 by from A dog insert that’s not washable LL Bean has always been so wonderfully pet supportive with products and adorable catalogue pictures. It’s nice to be able to just order the insert, but we’re doing it because the original one has leak through dog stains. Just surprising it can only be spot cleaned.
