When I ordered this insert for my aging Newfie to replace the normal fill (fits in the same cover), he immediately laid on the bed as I laid it out to expand. It's his absolute favorite and I am very happy with this product.

I think this memory foam insert for my dog's LLBean bed would have been more comfy for doggo if it had no egg crate section: instead, should have 4 inches (width of medium-sized mattress) of flat memory foam. On the positive side, it fit well in his old bed, replacing the original mattress perfectly.
