      Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful but I have some concerns.... I bought the sea glass 8x10 for our living room last month. The colors are exactly what I was looking for...soft, muted blues, green, cream, and tan. My concern is how many pieces have pulled out so far. From what I've read, this can be normal because it's the end of the color and if it comes up you are supposed to clip it and that should be that. I really hope thats the case because this rug has sold out in the size I want so there is no replacing it. I included a picture that I took this morning to show what I'm talking about. It's not just a couple of threads and this is after less than 1 month. Otherwise, it's perfect. :)

      Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised by Negative Reviews. I ordered a "Bright Coins" small rug for my kitchen about eight years ago. About a year later, I ordered the runner. Four years ago, I ordered two more runners and two larger area rugs. I am still using all six rugs and they are the major decorative element in my children's bedrooms and the adjacent hallway. I have found that all have worn as expected and are easily cleaned at my dry cleaners. I have had absolutely no problem with loose threads. I like that I have been able to add to my collection through the years. The colors are a good compliment to the vintage persian rugs I have in all of the more formal rooms in our house.

      Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pulls spoil this product I had my eye on this rug for quite a while because I loved the pattern. I finally ordered it in Sea Glass. Unfortunately, within a couple of months, it started to get "pulls'. We have no children or pets and wear slippers so the usual culprits for this type of wear cannot be blamed. Even though it is in the living room where it gets walked on daily, I do not believe this type of wear should be occuring. I have kept the rug because the cost of returning it from Canada is prohibitive. I am disappointed and do not believe that I am getting my money's worth from this purchase, which is unusual for L.L. Bean's merchandise.

      Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grandy I love the "Coins" 6 X 9 rug for my bedroom. I also have two smaller rugs of the same design at each side of my bed. I have ordered the runner to go in the bathroom in front of the sinks. The quality of the workmanship and the strong bright color of these rugs is perfect. I have ordered 100% wool rugs from L.L. Bean for years. The ones that we are not using now have been passed on to family members. I have two on the same design/different colors in the kitchen. Small kitchen drops don't easily show and they clean up nicely! I couldn't figure out how to add the photos but they are beautiful.

      Rated 5 out of 5 by from I ADORE this rug! I have been wanting this rug for several years and finally purchased it last fall. I got it in the 6' x 9' size. I wish I had gotten a larger one, but this will look good in any room. The colors are bright, it is warm underfoot, and it looks great in our den. This summer it's getting moved to the living room with all the white furniture to brighten up that area. It doesn't pill, as I had read in some of the earlier reviews. I vacuum it about once or twice a week (we have 3 dogs). I would definitely buy this again.

      Rated 4 out of 5 by from falling in love... i originally purchased 2 bright coin rugs (RED). i wish they had been about 2' by 3 1/2 or 4' i use them in the cool weather in a hallways. finally purchased the runner 2' by 8'. it is in a kitchen, along the cabinets where the sink is located. with 5 dogs, it sees a lot of wear, but it has held up beautifully. 2 dogs insist on 'digging' on the rug. i have had to trim some thread. it has not affected the look. our big puppy unraveled about 12 inches of the border. have the piece and may get it repaired when he is older. for now turning that side to the cabinets works. knew i would be taking a chance but so far it has worked out. small rugs are 4 years old. runner is about one year. bottom line...i really like them, and have no complaints.

      Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY! I'm shocked that a company as reputable as LLBean would sell such a poor quality product! I couldn't wait to receive this rug and coordinated other furniture around the colors in the rug. The sea glass coin is so pretty, the colors are warm and neutral. I have the rug in a medium traffic area and it began showing signs of pulls within the first few days. Months later the rug looks horrible, has pulls all over it, and is unable to be repaired. I completely regret this purchase!!

      Rated 2 out of 5 by from Attractive but "not great" quality control issues. While this rug is certainly VERY attractive, please read all the reviews when purchasing it. It is more than beautiful, but after ordering it, and getting a flawed one, I waited longer and trusted LL BEAN to replace it with a perfect one. Well, the second one had more flaws than the first, and I had to ship them both back. They did not charge me for the shipping, so I lost no money, but I am so disappointed that I didn't end up with this beautiful rug. The wool yarns are big shedders, and the hooking isn't tight and complete. Lots of loose ends and knots above surface. If I just wanted a thing of beauty this rug fit the bill, but I needed a good quality rug to hold up to some activity in the family room. I wish it would've worked out better for me, but seems like it's about 50/50 for most people..
