Rated 4 out of 5 by 2ndGenLLFam from So Comfortable These pants are very lightweight and the wide waistband makes them feel as comfortable as pj's. If you tuck in a shirt not sure how that would look. The zippered side pockets were such a great idea (it is a hidden zipper) keeping the pockets smooth. Don't know if I love the tab at the bottom of the legs. I understand the purpose but when pulled up the tab sticks out a bit and only one side goes up. I purchased this in black. I am 5-4 and 128. The small fit the best for me. Because of the leg being a little wide on me the black looked better than the green. With the side cargo pockets this is a cute crop pant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LLBeanandmeperfecttogethe from So comfy! I love pants that fit at the true waist and was glad to see these pants did just that. But I was worried that the XS, 2-4, would be too small but the S, 6-8, would be too big. I generally wear either a 4 or a 6, 6 in jeans for sure. Speaking with a customer sales person in the local store convinced me to try the XS. I ordered them and found them a very good fit (I'm 5'6", 125 lbs). I love that they are pull on, too. My only quibble is that they come out of the dryer pretty wrinkled. I used my tried and true way to get wrinkles out of pants, etc by lightly spraying them on a pants hanger. They dried without the wrinkles. THey don't wrinkle badly when wearing them, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by x0x0x0x0xguitar from Great pants The vista camp pants are my favorites this summer. The pants are very comfortable. I purchased these with the intent on wearing them when I babysit my grandchildren. The pockets are perfect for my cell phone and other incidentals. The fabric is light weight and perfect for high temperatures and humidity. I’ve washed mine at least a dozen times and they look like new. They dry quickly. I use low heat in the dryer or just put them on a drying rack. I bought the navy pants first, and then later bought the olive ones. I also bought the recommended light weight tee shirt to go with the pants. I love my new outfits and highly recommend them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by HikerNShopper from Great crops with two small problems These are nice, lightweight and just loose enough to be truly cool and allow easy movement. Problem #1: I love the idea of a stretchy top (I have some from another brand that are super comfy) but the knit band at the top of these crops is way too loose to stay up without tying. They come with an elastic tie that is so long that the ends hang to my mid thigh when tied in a bow. Not a good look. Problem #2: the cargo pockets are too small for a normal cell phone. Useless on a hike.. I'll keep them, but I won't buy another pair. p.s. When will LLBean stop sewing the scratchy tag in the back of the waistband?

Rated 5 out of 5 by mmsmfr from Excellent! I have searched all over for lightweight, comfortable crops, finally found them at LLBean. The Vista Camp Pant Crop in Misses fits perfectly, not at all baggy and not too tight. The elastic waist band makes them very comfortable and you can adjust them more with the tie string. They have great stretch for scrambling up rocky hiking trails in the Sierra Nevada Mtns or for doing yard work and housework. I bought the Olive Green and am back for the black. More colors please, (blue (light and dark) and sandstone and grey) but please do not change anything else. Thank you, LLBean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wease from Great Safari Pants!!! Went on 10 day safari to Tanzania. Highly recommend both the safari and the pants. Bought two pair... one green, one grey. Wore nearly every day. I got the long pant version so I could close tight at the ankle (keep out bugs or snakes or whatever) or under the knee for shorter pant (if hot). Very comfortable, Very breathable. Easy to rinse out and dry... just hang out window of the jeep!! Took about 30 minutes to dry. 4 pockets hold lots of stuff. Drawstring and elastic waistband worked great. I expect I'll wear a lot at home too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by neurosurgerytech from Perfect for bashing around outdoors I don't find these pants particularly attractive, but they are incredibly comfortable and functional. The fabric is very lightweight, dries quickly, and has good stretch for active movement. They are as comfortable to me as leggings but with a conservative look (they're not going to show off all your business the way a pair of leggings would). I enjoy wearing them for outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, and kayaking. The cut runs large so I had to send back my first pair and get a replacement one size down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FirstQuality from New Favorite Pants These are lightweight and so comfortable, from the soft ribbed waist to the hem. I bought 1 in each color. They are the crop length of the Vista trekking pant which are equally comfortable and lightweight, and they've taken the place of jeans for me.---and I bought 1 of each color as well. For reference: I am 5'4" and I20 lbs. I bought a size XS, but I tried on the small, and they'd fit too. Just the best pants in a long time for me. I look forward to wearing them this summer.
