Great item, just missing one thing
I really liked this item - fit was just right, length, width, arms, nice fabric. I have rather broad shoulders for my frame, but the sleeves were right where I liked them, about an inch past the wrist bone. However, I ended up returning it. I had incorrectly assumed that since it was anorak-style it would have a kangaroo pocket to warm up my cold hands in. Also I was hoping the sienna clay would be more orange, but it looked pink to me (and I have a major pink aversion!). I'm exchanging for the quilted 1/4-zip item instead. LL Bean, if you put a kangaroo pocket on this I could very easily be tempted to re-purchase!

Unique Casual Top
I purchased this top a couple of months ago and it’s become a “go-to” top for cold weekends. Nice details and really comfortable. Flattering with skinny jeans. I have all 3 colors with dark blue as my favorite. I’ve only used the pocket for something small like a car key. It’s unfortunate there are so many negative reviews, because it could be a cute top for others. Definitely recommend.

useless pocket
Small was fine but sleeves would ideally have been longer, medium would have been way too big. What really prevented me from buying this in the store today was the useless pocket. It's not a kangaroo pocket. You can't put your hands in it at all. You access it under the bust by snaps AND a zipper. Anything you do put in it would bulk out. Maybe it would make a good close to the body spot for a passport while traveling...? Anyway, for the price, it wasn't worth it. In store, the one I tried on was a fantastic clay and sierra colorblock option.

Awkward seam across the chest
This sweatshirt was soft, fit true to size, and the color was nice. I sent it back for refund because the seam from the pocket hits right across my chest in a very unflattering and awkward way. Not cute.

Fits Weird
As usual, the fit on this LL Bean garment is so odd. I ordered a small, hoping it would fit well around my midsection, and it was fine, but then the sleeves were too short. So I ordered a medium, and the sleeve length was better, but then the width around my midsection was like wearing a tent. I find all LL Bean garments I've ever attempted to purchase fit like they're dressing someone who is extremely overweight, or pregnant. They need a slender fit, or a tall fit for women. I am so disappointed because I LOVED the color, design, fabric, and hardware choice on this garment. So much that I'd spend a ridiculous $89 on it... but the fit is just never there. C'mon Bean, get with the program! I NEVER have this much difficulty with any other brand.

Terrible quality
I am obsessed with L.L.
Bean products. Majority of my wardrobe is from here. However, I have to say I am extremely disappointed in this years selections. Usually the new items are great that come out. This season the new items are a major let down. This item being one of them. Poor quality, extremely poor fit, very stiff and cheep feel of material. Idk if Bean hired someone new that picks out the new products now but majorly disappointed this season!
