Rated 4 out of 5 by OldtimeCamper from So soft! Love the colors too. I love the fit and colors of these shirts, I've now ordered 3. The softness of the fabric is wonderful. However, on my Azure one, after 1 washing, the stitching along the bottom hem came undone (this happens a lot on your French Sailor Shirts) for about 4 inches...mind you I don't have a serger sewing machine to fix it properly. Yes I could send it back, but the tread was long enough that I was able to use it to with a regular old sewing needle and fix it by hand....but why should we have to? Your sewers should know how to back stitch before cutting the thread! If it wasn't for the stitching problem, I'd give them 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NorthoftheMidwest from Great SHIRT, not tunic Let me start by saying I do love this shirt. It's super soft, mid-weight, and beautifully colored. I enjoy wearing it and I'm glad I got it. However, this is in no way, shape, or form a tunic. I'm 5' 8" and a size 8-10 and this falls just a little over the back pockets of my jeans, but does not cover them. To me, a tunic covers your butt and then some. Tunics could be worn with just leggings underneath and you'd still feel covered. There is no way this shirt is long enough to do that. It also shrank a little in the wash, but not bad. Just know that when you're buying this, it's a shirt, not a tunic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Happy2BeInTheNW from Depends... I'm squarely between a 2X and 3X on top, so it all comes down to cut and fabric and my degree of desired looseness. This year, LLBeans plus size tops are all too short, IMO. I ordered this tunic in 3X. The "tunic" actually fits like a 2X Land's End t-shirt. I kept the shorter t-shirts to wear with skirts, they're too short to wear with pants. LLBean is finally stocking plus size colors other than pastels - what a bizarre choice. If you're looking for a true tunic (loose fitting and longer) order a size up. Maybe some day LLBean will stop deciding they know what plus size women want to wear and actually ASK US.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Prairiestar from Wanted to love it but..... I now own two of these shirts. I love the unique neckline and longer length, but they are cut so full from just below the bust to the hemline that I feel as if I'm wearing my husband's T-shirts! The fabric also seems lighter-weight than my other Pima cotton shirts. Therefore, I have two high-quality shirts to use for every day, not for the somewhat dressier occasions I originally planned. I will not order any more of this style. Suggestion: PLEASE offer more styles of cotton knit shirts that fall at the low hip! I'm old enough to prefer longer shirts than when I was younger (and thinner in the middle!)

Rated 1 out of 5 by DebiN from Little holes show up in the fabric over time I have ordered at least 8 of these tunics in both large and extra large. They shrink quite a bit even washing on delicate. But my biggest complaint is every single one of these shirts and other cotton LL Bean T-shirts develop holes in the area where my pants waistband is. I don’t know if it’s from the car seatbelt rubbing in that area or just my waistband but it’s a very consistent issue and only seems to happen to the LL Bean shirts. I have other t-shirts I’ve worn for years that this doesn’t happen to. I think the fabric must be super cheap for this to happen. I tried to load a photo but it wouldn’t work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by manxcatmom1964 from one of my favorite shirts I have nothing bad to say about this shirt! The style is cute, and not ordinary. It fits well on my middle-aged body (not skin tight, in other words) and has enough length, which is a consideration for me. I have a longish torso, and many shirts are too short to look good on me. This one is perfect. It is also made of a fine, silky cotton that feels wonderful, but is not flimsy or see-through at all. I find that the neckline needs a touch up with the iron to lie flat, but this is a minor matter. I will continue to buy this style as long as L.L. Bean continues to offer it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BJMidwest from my favorite go to top! I am always looking for a top that is both stylish and comfortable. I have a hard time with casual Fridays. This is perfect for it. It is comfortable and I can dress it up a bit with jewelry. It washes well and doesn't fade, like all their pima cotton tops and cardigans. It fall on my thigh and covers my backside without being too long and frumpy. Love the length and I feel like I can wear this for any season! I would like to see more jewel tones, darker purple, mulberry, deep rose, hot pink. Some more patterns or stripes would be nice to have too. i washed in cold and hung it to dry. Love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by sgh416 from Same great quality I’ve purchased these tees for years. They hold up to repeated laundering, and retain their color. I normally wear size lg, but always order an extra-lg to allow for shrinkage. I don’t want them baggy, but I DO want them to fit. I like that they are shaped. I’d been waiting for new colors, especially a lavender. I ordered the Muted Lavender. It looks sort of ‘dusky’, not my favorite shade of lavender. Otherwise, same great quality fabric and variety of designs and necklines. If you haven’t purchased these before, I suggest ordering one size up because they do shrink, not drastically, but maybe enough to be less comfortable. Please offer more color choices.
