Rated 5 out of 5 by loghomelady from Abrasion Resistant! The description say abrasion resistant fabric and it sure is! I just spent two hours on an asphalt shingle roof, cleaning off pine and fir needles. For stability and security, I spent most of my time on my butt, scooting along the shingles, which are 12-year old asphalt shingles on a south facing roof, subject to heavy rain and snow. The pants will clean up well and will be as good as new. In this day and age of "outdoor" wear which often means prissy, go to the mall LOOKING like an outdoors person, this actually lived up to its reputation. Although it is light, thin and stretchy, it is actually a very tough fabric. Thank you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SamV from Not Quite There These Comfort Trail Pants seem nicely made with good details. The fabric was a bit softer than I expected, a bit thin (but expected), and did cause some static. I was disappointed that the waist was way too tight. I ordered size 24 -one size larger than normal, and still too tight. I am 5'10", Plus size, generally 3X or between size 22 and 24. I am an apple shape - large waist with slim hips and thighs. It is hard to get pants to fit correctly on me. The length was a little too short for me also, but that happens most times for me. I would have overlooked the length if the rest worked, but unfortunately, these will be returned since they don't make them bigger.

Rated 4 out of 5 by moxamama from Go-To's These are my go-to pants for spring, summer and fall. They wear like iron, dry very rapidly and look great. My only negative remark is this: The sizing of these pants is incredibly inconsistent. I have a pair of 20W and they are snug. So I ordered a 22W. They were really tight..so much so I couldn't breathe. I returned them for 24W's. They fit well. (Last year I had a similar experience--ordering a 22W which was SO big they fell off. Had to go to 20W's.) What's this about? Trying to psych us out? I really wouldn't mind this so much if I could count on free shipping for purchases and returns. But come on, LLB, what's going on?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lightning362000 from LOVE these pants! I bought three pairs of these, albeit the size that was recommended was WAY off. Luckily I ordered several pairs in different sizes and found the ones that fit right. I wore literally NOTHING but these pants all summer (I HATE shorts). Even when I was sweating, they were cool, comfortable and dried quickly. The side and back zip pockets are very handy. Whatever is in your pocket does show through so I only carried credit cards and small light items but...also LOVE the adjustable waist. This feature, usually reserved for kids should come in every pair of pants. Wash these awesome pants, hang dry and ready to go again! These will be my go to summer wear from now on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CrazyJane from Best Bush Whacking Pants Ever! I hike with the dog a lot. Which includes bush whacking through overgrown areas with thorns and brambles. These pants wear like iron, they seem to be abrasion and skag proof. My first pair was purchased in black in 2013 and then a second black pair in 2014 - they are still going strong, most pants I wear out between the thighs. I just ordered two pair in the lighter colors for summer. They are light weight and dry quickly so they would be great backpacking/vacation or gardening pants. I am 5ft 4inches and a muscular 165lb and wear a size 12 which are nice and loose on me. I could probably do the size 10 but I don't like pants to feel tight. They wash up great and are my go to pants for an active day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CocieR from My go-to golf pants This is the third pair I have purchased this past month. I like all the handy pockets, the fabric, the colors, and the sun protection - all perfect for golf. They do look a little more masculine on than I would like, but I can get past that. I don't like shorts or skirts, so these fit the bill. It took 3 trys to get the right size - I'm usually a 4-6 petite...I ordered a 6p then an p8. Not only did they not fit, but the inseam was too short. Finally, after talking with customer service, I sent those back and ordered 10 regular. The inseam is still a bit short but tolerable and the waist & length are just right. (I take a 6 reg. in LLBean jeans).

Rated 5 out of 5 by JRAustin from Me, too Yes, it is probably is pointless to add my 2 cents to the praises heaped on this pair of pants by other customers. This year I bought two pair of the cropped pants and one pair of shorts in the same line--same cut, same material and I live in them. Now I need a pair of long pants for a trip, ones that would save packing space, weight and ones that I could wash easily. My package arrived today. The pants fit perfectly. At 5'2" 130 lbs., many petite pants are still too long for me. Not these size 10 petites; they were just right. I wish you had made the 'iron' color available in petite sizes, to, but ash is OK.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DawnStar from Older is Better I purchased 2 pairs of long pants and 1 pair of short pant of this style in 2015. I love these pants. Since then the style has changed. Over the course of 2 years I have purchased 4 pairs of this same style of long pants; I have returned every pair of the pants because the fit is not the same. Waist- the rise on the front is too long, causing winkles in the front of the pants at the level of the front pockets. The rise in the back is not high enough to be comfortable, causing my butt-cheeks to show. I wish L.L. Bean would change the design back to the older style and material.
