Rated 4 out of 5 by mtnbuttercup from Thank you for the new style of 1912 jeans Ahhhhh, comfort. The standard favorite fit 1912's do not go on easy over my full hips and are too bulky in the crotch area and the classic fit were even worse. Been looking for a comfy jean for a while. Even tried the men's 1912 natural fit, but those tend to be tight across my upper hip bones and fatigue my back after sitting a while. The boyfriend style has just enough extra room in the hip area and are not too loose in the thigh area and the length is perfect for a 5'8" size 14 gal. Finally found my new favorite jeans! Hope LL Bean keeps the 1912 boyfriend style for a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JoeBob2 from finally - "normal" jeans! I was thrilled to find these jeans - they fit "normally" like the Levis of my youth. They are not skin tight like nearly every pair of jeans for sale these days. I'm perfectly happy to wear my skinny jeans to work and out in the evening, but when I am knocking around the house or in the yard I want a regular pair of denim. Hallelujah, because my previous 2 pairs of Bean jeans with a normal fit are at least 6 years old and I've rebuilt the worn seat in both of them. Now I have a pair of comfy jeans that I can still wear with a sweater and look smart. I'm looking forward to wearing these for the next 6 years as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 195893B from Super comfortable I've purchased two pairs of these jeans. They're fairly lightweight for summer. They're not baggy and they're not tight or clingy. Just right. The fabric used with the Americana color is very soft and a nice shade of blue. I love them and plan to order a third pair. The only thing I would change is the front pockets should be deeper and larger. That's a problem with many of Bean's women's pants (unlike men's pants). I guess the company figures women don't carry things in their pockets, but we do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by NEsquare from Nope I'm on a quest to find go-to jeans. This is not it, and will be returned. I have small waist, low rise, and large thighs. At LL Bean I usually wear a 10 or 12 pants, depending on fit. This Boyfriend Jean in size 12MT was baggy in waist and the thighs were tight. The material is too wimpy for my taste. The horizontal lines across abdomen are not my style. I have not been able to find a good LL Bean jean fit for several years. If I ever find a pair of jeans that fit, I'll buy a dozen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by hiker77 from Victim of changed fit I had 3 pairs of these jeans I ordered a few months ago and love them. I figured I should stock up before L.L. Bean changes the fit like they so often do. Too late. The thighs are much smaller and so is the waist. These are not boyfriend cut any more. They are no different than the other 1912 straight leg version. If you are going to change the fit, then change the name and product number.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ImaShoppaholic from 1912 Boyfriend Jeans Straight Leg Favorite Fit Misses Qty: 1 Item: TM503143 Color/Style: Vintage Wash Size: 8 Inseam: Medium Tall I'm enjoying these jeans very much. I usually wear skinny jeans, however, I wanted something that would be comfortable and stylish; the 1912 boyfriend jeans fit the bill. I have washed them twice and they come out nicely. The little stretch in them is just enough to make movement easy without binding. Generally, I wear my pants a little below the waist because I find that more comfortable. Happily, the favorite fit is slightly below my waist and is comfortable. I am 5'7" tall &137 lbs, this size & length is just right. Long enough to make a little rolled cuff at the bottoms or to leave uncuffed. The denim is a medium weight & the vintage wash is a great color, not too light, not too dark. The jeans are made very well and after washing they are very soft. They are becoming some of my favorites.

Rated 5 out of 5 by casualqueen from Good basic jeans They fit me pretty well. I tend to carry my weight in my thighs, so these are the best choice of LLBean jeans for me. They do stretch out by the end of the day, but not badly. Nice enough to wear out running errands, but definitely work jeans, not dress jeans. They last forever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by vviolet from Size Depends on Color I hate being uncomfortable in clothes. I'm at the age where I refuse to wear jeans that are too tight, especially at the waist. I must've tried every style of jeans that LLB makes, trying to find the perfect, comfortable. somewhat reasonably priced, pair of jeans. I tried the LLB Boyfriend Favorite Fit Straght Leg, in the Vintage Wash color. Well, bingo! Almost bingo, but close enough. I could button the waist comfortably. Leg is slightly baggy, but I will gladly trade that for a waist band that doesn't feel like I'm being cut in half by a piano wire. Since I was generally pleased with the fit, I ordered another pair, but in the "Americana" color, in the same size, 8, and length, regular. I couldn't make the button reach the buttonhole. It was at least 1 and 1/2" smaller. The rest of the pants fit fine but the waist was frieakishly small, as if it was the waist of a size 4. Needless to say, I returned that pair. I ordered a second pair of size 8, in the Vintage Wash, and that pair fit. I don't see why the color of the pants affects the fit, but it did. Anyway, I don't know what color "Americana" is. LLB, who picks these completely non-descriptive names for your colors?! I mean, REALLY....
