Rated 4 out of 5 by 6767 from Definitely waterproof! Used this at an outdoor track meet when it rained really hard with a cold, gusty wind for about 45 minutes straight. We huddled under our umbrella and used this to cover our legs and feet and it kept us completely warm and dry. I only wish it was easier to store. It was hard to get it back into the stuff sack when we were ready to leave. It would be so much easier if it could just be rolled up and clipped together like the LLBean sleeping bags, preferable with the clips on the nylon side, so the fleece side could be folded, rolled in, and protected. Still highly recommended for any outdoor event in the rain. They never cancel...unless there is lightening!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mindymom from All weather outdoor blanket My husband teaches horse riding lessons in a covered arena where it gets windy and cold in the fall and winter. Parents and others watch the students take their lessons from a viewing area and get very cold. I bought three of these blankets and they love them! The fleece keeps them warm and the nylon layer keeps out the wind and makes it easier to shake off the dust. The size is right. The storage bags make it easy to store them in the tack locker. The only negative is that the nylon is very crinkly/noisy. We would highly recommend these blankets for anyone who wants to wrap up and keep warm while viewing outdoor sporting events.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great for camping I bought this blanket to use when we go camping, just in case we wanted to take a picnic lunch on one of our hikes. We actually ended up using it under the dog beds when we put them outside, to keep the dampness from getting into the cushions. It worked great, especially since we had two days of rain. When we were able to be outside again it kept the beds from getting wet from the ground. It was also good because we could throw it over the dogs if they got cold at night while we were out by the fire. We're looking forward to using it for our picnic lunch in the future. The size is great, it has nice soft fleece and it is easy to wash. It was a good investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CTCustomers from Fabulous! I took my cats on vacation with us to a beautiful house and had promised the owner that I would cover any furniture that the cats would be sitting on - so I bought 7 of these blankets and they worked perfectly. I woke one morning to a healthy furball throw-up on one of the blankets. No worry - took it off, tossed it in the washing machine and not a drop on the couch. These are waterproof, clean up nicely and are a very nice size. Perfect for pets. A lint brush cleans off the fur nicely too. They are a little pricey (especially when buying in bulk!) but well worth the price especially if your pet has an accident. Easy clean up. Love this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by aggie69 from Warm, fuzzy, very handy. I keep one of these blankets in all our family cars and the three delivery vehicles owned by our business. I have also given a few away to some of our high value customers. Its great for emergencies, chilly children, and an improptu nap. The included stuff sack makes for great utility, keeps the blanket clean and easily available. I am not much for picnics so the waterproof side isn't much use to us there, but it certainly retains heat when needed. All in all a high value, low-key great product. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CADJR from Peace Of Mind! These waterproof fleece blankets were bought as Christmas gifts for my wife and adult children. Everyone has placed one of these in their vehicles for emergency use. I have 2 in my SUV, because one is for the dog! One daughter doesn't have a car yet because she is in law school right now. But she uses her Outdoor Blanket when laying out to sun bathe or on picnics on weekends. The blankets are warm and waterproof, so they will keep you warm if you get stranded with a vehicle stuck in snow or mud. Along with the other safety gear in all of our vehicles ( jumper cables, air compressor, tow straps, tools, gloves, flashlight, snow shovel, kitty litter, safety triangles, and first aid kit ) I don't have to worry about them getting to where they are going or at least a safe place until help can arrive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bojeski from Great outdoor blanket I was looking for a great outdoor blanket that was waterproof and made with quality. I came across this blanket and decided this was the blanket for us. It was on back order so I had to wait a few weeks to get it. Once we got it we took it to the park for a test drive. The blanket is good sized and very soft. The ground was wet with dew but we the blanket stayed nice and dry. The only drawback is the waterproof side tends to slide around a bit on the grass...no traction to grip the ground. Other than that, this is a great blanket for picnics and such.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Feralcomprehension from Nice but..... I like this blanket. Looks good, well made, comes with a stuff sack. It's loud though. (I know what you're saying. "How can a blanket be loud?!") It is, though. Probably a result of the waterproof material, it crackles when it's flexed. A lot. My 6yo said, "This blanket is noisy!" It won't bother me for my uses- in the car, or for a spontaneous picnic, but if you're trying to be stealthy and warm you'll be out of luck.
