Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Comfortable!! I have not been a fan of flip-flops. In the past, the thong would irritate the area between my toes and I could not drive with them. I usually would wear sandals with velcro straps. My son lives in Hawaii. Whenever you enter someone's home, you take your shoes or sandals off before entering. Having to undo straps or laces there is annoying. These are easy to slip off and slip on. Since I bought these flip-flops they are my go to sandal!! They fit my foot well. They stay on while I am driving. Best of all they are also pretty cushiony. I now own three pairs!! I usually wear a 9.5 D shoe. I bought these in a 9. They are the perfect length!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good for a thong style flip flop I was looking for a replacement for a style of crocs that isn't made anymore so I went to my local ll bean store and tried on these. I was looking for a sandal style but decided on these flip flops despite that funny between the toes feel. The tread is aggressive and made well, it should last a few years. The arch and heel support are great and that's really what sold me on them. i wear them around my house even when it's cold outside because of my hard wood floors. When my family tracks in rain and snow I don't slip on my hardwood floors like I did with my crocs. There is no risk of them sliding off of my foot as they feel like they were made with just for me. I would buy them again even though I don't REALLY like flip flops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, Durable, Good Traction, Non-marking I wanted a durable flip flop that would survive backcountry hiking when I needed to ditch my boots to cross a stream, but also serve as a casual daily flip flop for summertime activities. I was a little nervous because I had a some rubbing the first time I wore them, but they broke in after a day and now they're extremely comfortable. They don't mark the deck of a boat. The traction is good enough to wade along rocks while shore fishing. The flip flops could be a little heavier and have a slightly firmer sole, but they're a great balance between weight and durability. You won't feel gravel pressing into the bottom of your feet like with some flimsier flip flops. I'm an 11.5 with a wide foot, and I found the 12 fits me perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! I may be writing this review a little prematurely, as I won't get to wear these sandals outdoors for another few months, but I love them so far! I bought these to replace a pair of the Teva Pajaro sandals, which I also bought from LL Bean. Unfortunately, the Teva sandals fell apart by the end of last summer, so I returned them. The LL Bean Swift River flip flops are very similar to the Teva Pajaro sandals, but they feel lighter and more comfortable. The fit is perfect and the sandals feel durable. The tread is amazing - it is like the tread on some of the LL Bean hiking and/or winter boots. I only wish the front portion was raised a little higher for better toe protection, but aside from that, there are no complaints! I've been wearing the sandals around my house and I cannot wait to wear them outdoors this summer!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Swift river flip flop The foot-bed itself was well-made, but strap and toe-thong did not allow foot to easily sit on the foot-bed. Have to grab flip-flop and force fully onto foot to get them to seat properly. Strap seems too tight and forces foot to inside of foot-bed. Ordering info recommended going down if you wear a half-size. Based on how they fit, I would order UP not down if getting them again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Prefer the TEVA Flip Flops I ordered these on a 20% off promo, simply because the TEVA Pajaro Flips Flops did not qualify for this promo. These Swift River's are too narrow, too small and the straps are too tight, plus the wavy soles are just plain uncomfortable. Size 12 Swift River's are a good 1/2" narrower and shorter than the same size Pajaros. Exchanging for my favorite TEVA Pajaro's ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best flip flops I own at least 6 pairs of flip flops from various brands. The minute I put these on, I was sold. Great arch support, incredibly comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than reef phantoms I use to buy the mid priced Reef Phantoms . I find these fit the same , not too tight in toe area as some other reviews , more comfortable, better arch support and attractive . Definitely recommend
