Rated 1 out of 5 by LawyerMama from Go Back to the Prior Version I bought 4 of picnic coolers of the prior model for myself and friends. The old model was great. The new model is missing the 3 large side and front pockets to carry things like cups, plates, and other nonperishable items for a picnic. Plus, it no longer has the sturdy handle and the detachable shoulder strap of the prior model. Finally, the patchwork colors are not as appealing at the solid jewel tones of the first model (granted that is more aesthetics). The prior version had great reviews. Not sure why LLBean replaced with an inferior version at the same price point. I will not be buying more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DennisBTR from Strap Handle is Dysfunctional The cooler itself is good. The problem is the adjustable strap. The adjustments do not lock into place. Instead there is a slot for a metal tab to go into on various points on the strap to lengthen it or shorten it. As long as pressure is on the strap (ex. when you are holding it or have it on your shoulder) it is fine, but the minute you let the strap get any slack (ex. when you put it down) the metal tab comes loose from the slot. The net effect is that every time the least little bit of slack is allowed in the strap you have to readjust the strap to the length you want and put the tab back in the slot. It is a horrible non-functional design and I am sorry I ever bought this (expensive) cooler.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Djdyehdkd from Good bag bad strap I bought this to use as a lunch bag for work. I carry my own set of dishes with me and my old one just want big enough. I love the bag itself. It's perfect for what I need but the strap is just horrible. I actually sewed mine together at the end once I had it adjusted to where I wanted it so it would not come apart anymore. Needless to say I won't be returning it now but that was my choice.
