Rated 5 out of 5 by CTBiker from So Far ... So Good I bought this shirt for trail running, hiking and casual wear in warm weather. I haven't had a chance to put it through its paces yet, but I like what I see. The design, materials and quality of construction all seem quite good and the fit is "true to size" (I'm 6'5" with a 44" chest and the Large, Tall fits fine). I do plan on - and suggest - washing this shirt either by hand or by machine in a "delicates bag" because I have had bad experiences with similar garments from other suppliers catching and pulling in laundry machines. But that sort of goes with owning a garment incorporating synthetic mesh fabrics. I'm not going to deduct points for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by merecat43 from Great Shirt for Activity Outdoors or Gym. I bought my son one of these Ridge Runner shirts to wear for running as well as hiking. He loved it from the start. He especially likes the cut of the sleeve as it allows freedom of movement. He also states that it washes easily. He wears a Small (and prefers a trim fit) and although the fit is not slim, the cut and drape of the shirt look good. He weighs around 140 lbs and is 5'8". He wears these type shirts several times a week as he goes to the gym to run and workout and then on the occasional weekend to hike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paddynigel from Great for hot summer! My husband loves these t-shirts. He says these suck the sweat onto the shirt and cools you while it evaporates quickly. He exercises very hard on the elliptical everyday and always wears these polyester shirts. He has about a dozen. They launder easily and can look wrinkled when they come out of the dryer, but as soon as you put it on, the wrinkles are gone. He loves these for the boat, also. Just an all around t-shirt that always look good on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Adventurer from Not as good as it used to be I have a few of these shirts and the older design was a solid performer in the past. New design feels flimsy and too lightweight. Translation ll bean is getting cheap and using cheaper materials and the quality of the shirt isn’t like it used to be. They try to pass it off as being new and improved because it is more lightweight but the reality is that it is cheap and flimsy. I will be returning this shirt that I just received. Hopefully making things cheaper with less quality is not the direction that LL bean is going but I guess we will see.

Rated 4 out of 5 by allied716 from Great fit I like this shirt, how ever the 92%polyester 8% spandex lacks in comfort over item number 501131 91% nylon 9% spandex which has been sold out. I own 4 of each and the 501131 is the best. I absolutely love those shirts, you can be active in them and when they get wet it drys very fast, the fabric gives allowing for movement while sleeping in them. Winter time it’s this shirt, a sweat shirt and a light jacket allowing for working in them out doors easy movement. All around a great shirt. This shirt does just the same but doesn’t have the give while sleeping in them. That’s why I gave it only 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JandB285 from Ridge Runner T-Shirts We purchased the first Ridge Runner T-shirt on an expedition to the store in Victor, NY. We were there to buy shoes. On the way to the cashier we passed by the display. My husband liked the blue one so we added that to our purchases. After wearing it one time, he said he wanted more. We went back and bought both the green and grey one too. They wash easily, dry quickly and are so comfortable and cool for him to wear. He likes the styling and the fit. These are a home run at our house!

Rated 5 out of 5 by athiker98 from Back for more Very nice shirt. I'm back to buy a couple more. It has a nice weight to it, not too heavy and not too light. Neck is just right too....I hate some of the polyester shirts I've tried that have a tight neck...they feel too claustrophobic. It is slightly fitted but not extreme by any means...just makes for a nice hang w/o a ton of extra fabric. I am 6' 0" with a fairly long torso and weigh in the low 190s. A large fits me very well.
