Rated 5 out of 5 by lilyfig from Long searched for "work" shirt My husband had a beloved work shirt that has been in tatters for a few years. He wears it to work outside during spring and fall, usually with a vest underneath the shirt. We have been actively trying to replace this shirt for at least 3 years! Well, this particular shirt from LL Bean has all of the properties he was looking for!! Durable, tough outer cloth, warm yet light weight insulation and "taffeta-like" lining that slides easily during body movement and also keeps the wind at bay- The perfect replacement. So perfect that we now have two of these shirts, one in each color! And, the old shirt has surprisingly gone missing ;-))

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hiker247 from Nice light jacket This jacket is great for wearing around the house, or out and about when it's cool outside. I find it's a bit cooler than a fleece jacket. The buttons wear in over time, becoming easier to fasten. The pockets are roomy too. I really like the colors as well. Still frustrated there is such a large difference between sizes, which is not this products fault. Medium is a decent fit, and large is swimmingly huge. I could use more room in the shoulders and arms in a medium, but a large is much too wide through the torso.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MikeCO from Nice qualty After looking in stores and online for a winter flannel shirt jacket, I came across this one on LL Bean. The fit and quality are great, but I couldn’t give it a full five stars because I was disappointed that the hanger loop on the inside collar was not fully sewn in (I repaired it myself with a sewing machine). I selected this shirt because of the liner type. I had become disappointed with a different shirt I own because the fleece/pile lining sags out from behind the tail area of the shirt. The liner on this shirt prevents that problem. Very good quality materials at a price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JoninRochester from Overall Good, Fit Challenging Okay this is a great piece. The lining is not necessarily soft. It is the nylon/poly lining that is very slippery, which actually helps getting it on and off. This gets VERY warm, which is great as I've used it outside when working around the house or working on a project in the garage. I've worn it over a long sleeve T in about 40 degree weather and it worked. Granted, no elements though. Here's my only struggle with this piece. I'm a normally built guy- 6', 180 lbs. The medium I was SWIMMING in, and the small fits great. BUT, the arms are shorter than I'd prefer. In the end I went with the small, but I wish those arms were an additional inch or 1.5 inches longer. Warm and does the job.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CompleteBean from It Pills My husband has worn this shirt about 15 times. It's warm and definitely serves its purpose. However, the PrimaLoft lining is pilling through both sleeves in the underarm area (see pictures). Very unattractive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KOHill from Great fit! Very warm! Bought this for my husband. I was worried that the thicker material would make it fit more tightly, but the other reviews said they ran big. He wears medium shirts and the medium was a perfect fit luckily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Robert216 from Nice lined shirt jac Wanted a lined shirt jacket that was not too heavy to wear inside and outside the house in cooler temperatures - seems just right. Fit is good and true to size. I especially like the quilted lining which slides on and off smoothly. This shirt jac is also machine washable which I feel is a plus. I had ordered 2 of them, one in each color and they are a rich looking and appear well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Terri from Not just for the boys I’m a girl:). I bought a small last year and purchased another this year. They are very well made, love the small details like denim trim. These are a slim fit so although I’m small, buttoning up completely is a tad bit tighter fit than I would normally want. It is incredibly light weight and really blocks the wind. I bought the green and orange stripe this year which I do like but the color choices are not too attractive otherwise. I even bought my mother the same one. She loves it!
