Rated 5 out of 5 by amerikka from What gorgeous sheets I just had to tell you all that these are the best sheets ever. I bought them in foggy blue. In person the colors are a mix of gray and lavender and light blue. They are truly gorgeous. And, the material is beyond belief. It is high quality cotton. They do shrink the first two times washed. After that, no more shrinking. And they do wrinkle, but if you dry them in two batches, say the fitted sheet and 2 pillowcases in one load and then dry the flat sheet immediately after that, the wrinkles are minimum. I hope you all enjoy them as much as hubby and I do. Thanks Bean. :) p.s.: Bean--please make more organic everythings.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BeanShopper1105 from SHRINKAGE I've been struggling to find a nice set of percale sheets. This is probably the 5th set that I’ve tried. They are very nice, everything you would want in a quality percale sheet. But… The state width of the queen flat sheet is 92”. I have no doubt that it started out that width. However, after one wash in cold water and air drying, the width was down to 88”. After a second wash in cold water and air drying, the width is down to about 84”. This is barely enough to cover the mattress and doesn’t look good. Also, it’s very hard to tuck under the mattress on the sides when making the bed, which I like to do, especially in the summer. I’m very disappointed, because other than that, these are very nice sheets. Don’t really know what I could have done differently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SashaQ from Perfect Sheets! These sheets are perfect: crisp cotton, moderate thickness, organic, soft against the skin without any slippery feeling like you get with sateen or any oily feeling like you get with flannel. In my opinion, the flat sheet could be a little wider, but the length is generous. The fitted sheet has a deep pocket. I have laundered them four times so far, and they are still fresh and crisp as when they were new. My husband says you always know when you are in my house because the sheets and towels are so fantastic! Iʻm a textile collector, if there is such a thing, and Iʻm very happy with this sheet set. And you canʻt beat the price for this kind of quality. LLBean -- please sell more organic sheets and I will buy them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tabithat2 from Wonderful quality sheets I bought a queen set of these organize sheets, washed them, then used them. They are just what I had been looking for several years since Wamsutta changed its purveyer and began selling irregular sheets of low quality. I like crisp, smooth, sturdy percale sheets, and that's what these LLBean sheetsare. If you like very thin, slippery percale sheets, the LLBean Pima cottom ones with hemstitching are better for you. These are made in Portugal, and Portugal is known for its fine linens. Thank you LLBean!

Rated 4 out of 5 by ProfTravelingSoul from Comfy but wrinkles badly! I've wanted to try organic sheets for awhile. When I saw them here, I had to buy. What is up with shipping at LLBean nowadays? It took them 7 days to ship out my order after I ordered and I never received them. Had to get a replacement order. WARNING: The sheets are crisp and hard to touch upon arrival. Even after washing with fabric softener, they come out badly wrinkled, but they are soft and comfortable to sleep on. Wrinkles very easily and can't get out the wrinkles. If you like smooth sheets that don't wrinkle, you won't like these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NEW336review from Pros and cons Pros: They are organic and I slept great on them despite cons. Cons: scratchy, very wrinkled, narrower than stated. I was pleased to find organic percale sheets at L.L. Bean and at a good price! However, after the first washing the sheets were very scratchy and extremely wrinkled. I expected them to be wrinkled since they are not treated with anything. I used them just as they came out of the dryer. After second washing they are a little bit less scratchy and I'm hoping they will get softer with each washing. I decided, this time, to iron the top hem and found it was impossible to do (see picture). It is so twisted it's impossible to iron flat. The width of the top sheet is 86" not 92" as stated. That extra 6" would be welcome. I did not measure the length as the length is more than adequate. All that being said, I did sleep great on them and I'm thrilled that they are organic, so I am going to keep them. Just wanted people to know my experience since the other two reviews seem to be rave reviews. Maybe their sheet sets came from a different batch?

Rated 3 out of 5 by Shopper107 from Possibly a good sheet As soon as I got these sheets I noticed they had a stiff feel to them, not soft like I had hoped. I washed them to see if the feel got any softer which did help but very little. They are a bit "crunchy" feeling and rough but crisp. They fit the mattress with room to spare (easy to put on but get bunched so if someone sits on the bed they need to be smoothed out). The flat sheet was a little shorter than I would have liked but nothing crazy. Again the feel is a little scratchy which I hope will improve with each wash. Have only had them for less than a week so 2nd wash will be happening in a day so fingers crossed that they get softer. I have ordered other organic sheets from other companies and have gotten them and the tags do not say "organic cotton" so they have been returned. This was not the case with LLBean so I happy about it got what was bought organic cotton sheets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by golfermommom from the best organic cotton sheets ever! I love LL Bean organic cotton sheets. I bought several sets a few years ago for our spare room. Loved them. Wanted them for our own king bed, but were discontinued. So glad they are back. We now have 2 sets for our king bed. I love them. Yes, they wrinkle, but I partially-fluff dry mine and then hang on a line in my basement. I never iron them. They are fabulous. So happy they are back!
