    Men's Water-Resistant Cresta Hiking Zip-Off Pants is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 48.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quite good all round hiking pants Bought two pair of these for a ten day trip hiking in Jasper and Banff. They fit well and I was able to wash and dry them overnight in the hotel sink. Weather was changeable in late June to early July so I wore them both long and short with the bottoms unzipped off. They are not rain pants but they did pretty well keeping me dry even in light periodic rain except one day when it rained hard. While not wide, their width on the bottom makes them very prone to getting muddy and dirty on sloppy trails (gaiters might help). Fortunately they wash easily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Details Good fit and comfortable. Left and right should be marked on the zip offs. Zippers at the bottom of the legs would allow them to be removed without removing hiking boots. These are, after all hiking pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good and flexible I have trouble finding pants long enough for me, but these actually were a bit long (but not complaining). Were light, yet warm when needed a bit, and the ability to make them shorts was extremely useful. Warm for our tip to Ireland and Scotland, and cool enough and became shorts in Rome's hot weather. Would like the front pockets to be zippered as well, but very happy with them. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and durable! I purchased 2 pairs of these hiking pants for my 12 day backpacking trek in Philmont, NM. Not only were they perfect for the occasion, but they were comfortable too! The long pants were excellent for morning bushwacking through tall grass, and once on a trail they were dry by the time I wanted to zip them off into shorts. Highly durable, no snags or tears even with hiking off trails!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great I bought a pair of these 3 years ago and absolutely loved them. They are my standard warm weather rafting pants and I wear them all day every day on the river. After two seasons they still look pretty good, I'm hard on gear and feel that these are pretty tough especially considering how light weight they are. Only reason for 4 stars is that they run to big compared to LL Beans sizing diagram. When wet they expand and stretch out some but dry back to original size and dry quickly. This time I am ordering a size smaller 32x32 and hope that I get a better fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, but difficult to zip Very comfortable when worn as either pants or shorts--fairly good looking, too. Seem to resist water well. The reason I'm leaving four instead of five stars is that I find it fairly difficult to convert these from shorts to pants, despite the color-coded zippers. It could be a lack of dexterity, but it takes me WAY longer than practical to line up the zippers correctly to reattach the pant legs to the shorts

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pants Fit perfect and were great for our trip to Alaska. They are the only pants that I could find in inseam sizes rather than the traditional S, M, L.
