Rated 5 out of 5 by WS4K from Best Walking shoe in years I do not agree with the bad comments on here. I am a BIG guy. It is hard to find outdoor shoes that provide support. These have been a God send. They fit well. They are waterproof. They offer the best support of any shoe I have worn in years. I have worn out one pair and quickly bought a second pair. My shoes have held up well. They have NOT come apart like others are saying on here. I live in Florida and I have not found these shoes to be hot at all. The traction is excellent do to the Vibrahm sole. My size is not available right now. I sure hope they have not been discontinued as I want to order more to put up for when I wear out the current pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SpazyfromKootenays from Very Good Shoe As per my husband: Great shoe. Good traction. Likes the metal eyelets for laces. Sole is a bit stiff at first but conforms to your foot after a while and becomes very comfortable and smooths out the bumpiness on the ground. Leather molds to your foot. Shoe looks good and nice colour. Once broken in, this is a shoe that you can sit around in for hours. Fits to size, use medium thick hiking sock. But you must take your time and let it break in. Good quality construction. He's very happy with the purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by WAF207 from Would definitely never recommend Ive tried a few of these hikers. This product is not made with quality materials. 4 pairs of these shoes have had the glue come off outsoles. The pair I have now brand new 1 day ago had worn insoles and holes on the underside of the tongue where people have tried them on and slipped their feet in and out. Examine carefully before purchasing a pair. Would definitely not recommend to anyone and would definitely not buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by coachjoe from Hiking shoe I thought the shoe was well made and attractive but much too heavy for me to walk long distances. I will exchange for a lighter shoe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BrdrGirl from Heavy and hot Good cushioning, but the shoe was a bit too long for the size ordered; the gap between the back of the shoe & my heel made it flap like ill-fitting slippers. Perhaps a half size smaller would've worked, but the shoe was also fairly heavy compared to others and was not breathable at all. The Gore-tex products seem more breathable than the TEK ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gettingfit from Great shoe Comfortable, waterproof, great for hiking and general use. My son tried on a different style of LLBean shoe in store and was a 10.5, so that was what we ordered. It was too big, so we had to exchange for a 10. So, they seem to run a half size big. Otherwise, he loves them.
