Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT TRAVELLING SHIRT These shirts are fantastic for hanging around on a Saturday or going to a backyard barbecue--they're breathable and the pattern conceals sweat somewhat. Where they separate themselves is on the road--ball them up and throw them in your suitcase, and you'll still have something presentable to wear after you get out of your coat and tie. I have all four patterns. When purchasing, I thought some of them might be a bit tacky, but they really look great in person.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice summer shirt. I purchase this shirt for my husband in medium-tall, blue/gray/white plaid. He’s a very slim and tall guy so, regular is too wide. I always buy tall/slim cut shirts for him at Bean. They fit him well. The Otter Cliff plaid is a lighter cotton perfect for wearing out for a more neater, casual look instead of tee shirts. (P.S. I wash these shirts in cool/warm water and hang to dry, lightly iron if needed. This keeps them looking nice.) I purchased a matching pair of gray shorts from Bean to go with the shirt. Perfect!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost great, but not quite The fit, comfort, styling, and appearance are right on target, if only is laundered a little better. It does not come from the dryer badly wrinkled, just a little crumpled looking -- marginal as to whether it needs ironing. I thought that with 40% polyester it would laundered really well. Okay, it's good just not great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small I've been buying LL Bean for many years. The Quality Control is becoming more obviously "cheap." This shirt is just barely wide enough through the shoulders. It's too small to be a Large, but XL is too large to be a Large.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Otter Cliff Short sleeve shirts This is not a traditional fit shirt. I have other LL Bean shirts that fit fine. To tight on the shoulders tight around the front. The size must be a medium and not a large.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Short, short sleeves This is a great shirt and really sharp. Only problem was that the short sleeves are too short for me. I am 6’3” and 210 lbs and ordered a large tall. Shirt fit great except it looked like the sleeves were not made tall, just the body. Too bad as I really liked everything else about it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from way too small I wear the Sunwashed Canvas Shirt (size L) all the time, and they fit just fine. This shirt, supposedly the same size, didn't fit at all. I'm not even sure an XL would have fit.
