Enjoy the custom feel of these men's rubber sole moccasins, time-tested and well-loved for their durability, fit and style.
    Size & Fit
    • For best fit, wear with lightweight socks.
    • Please note: Handsewns need little breaking in, but should be worn two or three times before evaluating fit.
    Why We Love Them
In 1936 when Leon Leonwood Bean first introduced these shoes, he compared them to the unique comfort of a handmade Indian moccasin. That soft, custom-made feel is still apparent in each shoe sewn today.
    • Full-grain leather upper conforms to your foot for a fit that only gets better with time.
    • Traditional rubber sole with channel grooves for traction on wet surfaces.
    • Removable padded, moisture-wicking insole.
    • Not available in California.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BRING THESES BACK!!!!! BRING THESES BACK!!!!! I, along with many others, have been wearing these shoes for many, many years (40). They were perfect!!! I know it might sound crazy to the bean counter accountants, but you don’t stop selling an item that is so loved to make a few more pennies. If it wasn’t for these shoes I probably would have never shopped for anything else from LL Bean. I bought a pair of the new ones and they don’t even come close. Every year I would buy a new pair for work and the old ones are worn around the house or on the boat. This shoe was a staple of LL Bean. If someone at LL Bean happens to find a size 10 ½ in cactus in the warehouse or old stock in a store please let me know. Thank you

Rated 2 out of 5 by from How sad I have been wearing these Bluchers for years. However, in the past 10 - 15 years there has been a definite decline in quality and they do not last nearly as long as they used to. The last pair I bought I returned. They squeaked loudly. There was a missing stitch on the inside which caused a blister. The sizes have also been inconsistent. One time I ordered an 8 and it was too big. The next time I ordered a 7 1/2 and it was too small. Ever since they outsourced these shoes, the craftmanship took a nose dive and they are not near the quality shoes they once were.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wear Problem I have worn about 10 pairs in 15 years. The last 2 pairs wore out prematurly due to the same problem. The heel does not have enough thickness on the outside where air pockets are located and a little wear exposes an air pocket. The rest of the shoe is in great shape. The air pockets presumably provide the cushioning. Once the air pocket is exposed the shoe disenigrates quickly due to moisture penetration. I do have a slight roll to the outside on the right foot but this never was a problem before the last 2 pairs. There needs to be more rubber and less air pockets to get these shoes back to 5 star status. Whatever you were before 2009 worked great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Casual Shoe, however... I bought the blucher mocs after hearing that they were a great alternative to boat shoes for Fall and Winter. They definitely fit the bill and have become my daily shoe for both work and weekends over the past several months. The shoes were tight at first, but quickly stretched to my feet. While I love the shoe, they offer little support for the feet. It's something I am willing to compromise on, but if your feet already give you problems you might want to look elsewhere or consider some inserts for these mocs. Otherwise, I'm a happy customer and have since purchased L.L. Bean's handsewn slippers for my father and myself, as well as a pair of Bean boots.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what they use to be Bluchers and Camp Mocs were the only shoes I wore in the mid to late 80's. What I loved about them was the broken in look and feel they developed with wear - they were that "comfotable old pair of shoes" - no longer. I purchased a new pair of Bluchers 6 months ago and wanted to wait before I gave my review. I wore them as much as I could stand - these are not the same shoes. The leather is almost plastic, thin, unatural, and uncomfortable - they will not break in. The soles are just as unsuportive as they always were so at least that is true to the original. I want to try out the camp moc but I am concerned that I will be dissapointed there too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This shoe is in your DNA I realize you have to change with the times. But your own copy says this shoe has been around for more than eighty years. I’ve been buying them for 50 years. I was disappointed when you dropped the beef roll loafer. Now this. I’ve kidded with my friends when I told them that “LLBean is my tailor “ There are many days when I’m dressed head to toe in your clothing. I don’t know how much longer that will be the case. At one time fashion wasn’t as big a deal with you. Your watch word was quality material, good construction at a fair price. Hope you’ll reconsider.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Please, please! Keep the Blucher Moc I have worn Blucher Mocs for 50 years (yes, literally), always having at least two pair, often three. I wear them every single day. They become work shoes when they are no longer shiny and new. When I went to order my next pair, I was shocked that they had been discontinued! At least they are back in the unfortunate Cactus color. Please, please, please! bring back the classic Saddle color. I am ready to order at least two pair when/if available. It seems that we decades-long loyal Bean customers are no longer the target market, which is very sad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Somewhat disappointed.... I bought these shoes in size 10 medium in the Oakwood color. Fit is OK, but they do run on the narrow side as others have noted. The picture of the shoes shoes showed an attractive lustrous leather, but the shoes are nothing near that...just a dry, dull look and almost does not look leather. Very uncomfortable for me, particularly in the forefoot. I have worn them around the house on carpet to try to break them in, but still very uncomfortable in the forefoot. If I had not worn them, I would have returned them. I had these same shoes from LL Bean many years ago and they were great! All in all, LL Bean produces great products, but these missed the mark for me this time.
