Rated 3 out of 5 by from Will have to try I got these today in gray and they look really nice. I had to use a shoehorn to get these on and could not get them on with socks on. Once on, they fit fine. Saw a few reviews where people mentioned these run large and I think they do. I wear an 8/12 and bought an 8 and still have about an inch of space before the toe area. They fit good, they do not hurt, did not experience anything uncomfortable that others mentioned but then getting them off again was a project. I was going to try a boot/shoe stretcher in these and see if it works. Would be great for dog walking in the rain or sloppy puddles later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute and practical I purchased this item in an LLBean store where I could try on the item before buying. I found this boot easier to put on and take off than the mid wellie. Rubber rain boots are never as easy to slide on and off as regular shoes, but these are not difficult. They are comfortable and stylish and give me room for thicker socks. These are perfect for walking to work. These also work better for me because the mid wellie hit my calf at a funny place (I am short and have defined calves). I purchased black so they match everything, but the other colors are very tempting. I am a true size 7 and they fit great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My Wellies It was raining when my boots were delivered. First thing I did was to try them out. Other rain boots are very flat bottomed, not these, they are cushioned very good which gives support when I walk with the heel at the right height. Also, like good boots there is room for heavy socks. They slipped right on with the help of the stretch bands on the sides, just like that they were on. The color goes with anything and what I really like is the water cannot get your ankles wet because the Wellies are built higher up just passed the ankle. I love them. People have asked me where I got them and of course I say "LLBean".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent rain boot Despite the reviews about the fit and how hard these are to get on and off I bought a pair in a half size up as recommended. The first day I wore them I had rubbing on my toes because I could NOT get them on with medium socks and had to wear thin socks which made the foot way too big. The second time I wore them I added a memory foam insert in the bottom to make them more comfortable. The memory foam also solved the problem with the foot being too big with thin socks on. So I would recommend adding an insert for anyone looking to buy these. They are still quite difficult to get on and off but I can do it with help from my hubs. And the color purple I purchased is gorgeous and I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sturdy rain boot I bought these when I saw them on the daily markdown, as it was time to replace the LL Bean rain boots I bought 35 years ago. I chose the conservative dark brown, even though I don't like the mustard color of the insert. As I expected, you can't see the insert under long pants when walking around town. The dark brown looks almost like leather, nice enough to wear into the office on a rainy day with business clothes (slacks suit), before changing into shoes. I usually wear a 7 1/2 wide, tried the 8 (since there were no half sizes or wide), and they fit fine for rain boots. I won't be taking hikes in them, but they are quite sturdy and will keep me from ruining my shoes on rainy days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but not the ease I wanted These are nice little garden/rain boots. Very comfy once you get them on. Sadly, the design isn’t quite right, so getting them on and off is a full-fledged project of its own. I was hoping for something I could slip into easily for rainy days, in and out with the dog, and wet yard chores. Wanted a boot over a shoe for increased puddle, bee and tick protection. The contortions I have to go through to get them on and off means they are not the easy footwear I was looking for. They do look good, though, and they are very comfortable for long periods of time once they are on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from perfectly functional, but... These were a "sale splurge", and I'm glad I got them.My usual shoe size is about 10, so I ordered that. Wish they came in half sizes, as it's possible 9.5 would have been better. They are comfortable to wear, and not as narrow as the last LLBean rain "duck shoes" I had. For this I am grateful. There is plenty of room for any of my socks, and I'm not fighting to get them on as some reviewers are. The "stiffening piece" over the instep appears simply to be thicker rubber.Style points I don't care for: pointy toes (really? on a Wellington boot?) and the "bumped-out" back of heel shape. This causes them to slip and slide on my heel. The forefoot fits well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good for big feet.... I LOVE the color and fun of these boots. It is almost impossible to find fun trendy colorful shoes/boots in my size. And, I still haven't found them. I wanted this boot to fit so badly! I have a size 11, wide to almost extra wide foot. I did get my foot into the boot but could not get the back of the boot to pull up over my heel. If I could have gotten them on, they would have been great! The boot itself seemed well made, thick rubber all around. I would recommend these but probably only to those that have smaller feet.
