Rated 4 out of 5 by bethiebiker from The Length is Back! I stopped buying t-shirts from LLBean several years ago because the styling kept getting shorter and boxier. With waste lines going down and the shirt length going up, I couldn't wear an outfit without exposing my belly for everyone to see - and I'm only 5' 5". I ordered this shirt on sale and with a coupon that was about to expire because I figured for $4.99 I could wear it around the house. It arrived yesterday, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The t-shirt material is a good weight, and best of all, it hits at my hip with plenty of shirt to cover everything I want covered! I'll probably order some more colors and hope that they're all this style.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LoyalBeanite from Warning...shrinks in the dryer! I ordered one of these, then liked the shirt so much I bought two more. They became my go-to shirt, getting worn far more than anything else in my closet. They are soft, a nice weight, a great cut, and best of all, they were long enough to make me feel comfortable bending and stretching and doing just about anything. Notice I said "were." I've been hanging them to dry, but accidentally threw one in a medium dryer yesterday. It shrank three full inches. I know they are 100% cotton, which is why they feel so heavenly to wear, but I wish they'd been pre-shrunk. I'll be ordering more, but I'll be a lot more careful with them in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BigBadScientist from There's no "T" in this shirt! Desperate in my search for a well-made T-shirt, I finally packed up and made the pilgrimage to Freeport to see these shirts for myself. I left frustrated and disappointed. Every style of women's T-shirt currently offered by LLB (pima, unshrinkable, sport, Bean's) isn't a "T" -- it's a square with armholes. While the fabric and make are solid, every one of these shirts is FAR too short and FAR too wide. What a horribly unflattering shirt!! I'm soooo glad I didn't order these online, as all the models seem to be wearing a different cut. PLEASE make these shirts longer, or at least offer a "Tall" option (why are there Men's Tall but not Women's Tall??)

Rated 5 out of 5 by jonedw from Construction quality changes? Still the best BUT I order the LLBean long sleeve tees in bulk (see my review - now called "interlock"?) and these in lesser amounts. Love the 100% cotton *thicker* fabric as my waist line is somewhat lumpy and the short sleeve length is good. However, I agree with another reviewer that the sewing of the neckline trim has deteriorated in quality. And I'm not seeing the grey in the current offerings (how stupid is that?). Btw, all of the traditional LLBean tees shrink and you need to allow for that (I wash inside-out in cold and dry on low). I will be very upset if LLBean ever quits making this style as I hate Pima. Disgusting texture.

Rated 2 out of 5 by mbcaShopper from Odd Fit I did not like the fit and returned the shirt. The arm holes felt odd, the shirt had a boxy look with too much fabric in the middle and binding at the hips, which resulted in the illusion that I am big through the middle. I purchased 2 other short sleeved T's (carefree and Pima) and all had the same cut. I thought maybe it was me, so I tried on 2 3/4 sleeve LL Bean shirts purchased last year, one had never been worn and the other had been washed. They both fit fine. I think the new cut is for large busted slim hipped women. It is so hard to find 100% cotton T's anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by harpergirl from Really nice Tee I never really know what I am going to get when I order a t-shirt from LL Bean. When my package came today I counted the short-sleeved LL Bean Ts in my closet...and there are 15. And I just put a really ratty old one in the rag bin. My shirts are a variety of fabrics and styles, and I love them all. These seem a bit different from any of my others, but I love them. They are soft and fit great. Important for you lovers of yellow....on my computer, the yellow looked like a really cool (in artist terms), gaudy yellow, but I took a chance and received a lovely, buttery, beautiful yellow shirt. The bright green one is really bright, but funky. And the tan one was just as I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NutmegFan from Comfortable The shirt is a very comfortable cotton...soft and with a little bit of heft... not too thin. Washes well, too. Quality of shirt deserves 5 stars. How it fits on me: I'm 5'2" and 110 lbs. Even though I'm petite in height, regular sized tops tend to fit me better across the shoulders and in the armpit than petite sizes. So, I ordered a regular (not petite) size small. It fits great across the shoulders, but is too roomy through the waist and belly. I have to tuck it in...can't wear it untucked. I have this same shirt in long sleeves. It fits well across the shoulders and through the waist. It's perfect. It's my favorite. The sleeves are only a tad too long but not a problem at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ShanghaiRed from A Wardrobe Staple I love this shirt. It's comfotable, fits well and looks good. Bean is now offering this shirt in better colors which I appreciate. I have purchased about 20 of them for myself over the past few years. My only complaint is that the fabric being used for some of the colors is flawed. I have had to exchange three or four of the twenty I purchased due to manufacturing defects in the fabric. Bean's customer service is excellent, so the exchange process is easy, but if they have discontinued the color, the customer is out of luck. I shop at Bean because I expect superior quality. Hopefully, this issue with the fabric will be resolved. That said, I love this t shirt and wouldn't want to be without it.
