Rated 5 out of 5 by Birdie12 from Flattering cut, perfect arm length for tall women. I took a chance on this... and am glad I did. I especially appreciate the waist pull-chord (that sadly is not in all LLBean jackets of late). I am happy with every detail of this jacket. I am tall/athletic/slim build. The other reviews helped me - especially existing review quote below: "I have to admit the material is kind of odd, though. I don't mind it but I saw some reviewers referring to this. It is kind of 'stiff' and 'foamy.' The fit for me is great, it's comfortable and keeps me warm. But it's not really "fleece" material so be forewarned if that's what you're looking for. It IS nice stretchy material."

Rated 5 out of 5 by lamamma from A Great Jacket I bought this jacket as a light-weight jacket for chilly morning walks. I wore it the first morning with a short-sleeved shirt under it while temps were in the 40's. Today I wore it with a long-sleeved shirt with temps in the low 30's. Both times I felt very comfortable. I think I have a winner. The jacket is light-weight and has good-sized pockets - enough for doggie treats and trash(?) bag. Complaints: I wish it had a two-way zip and thumb holes in the sleeves. I am 5'1" and ordered a medium petite. It is a little snug but I think that is just the fit. The sleeves are very long - almost over my hands. But that's okay because I can pull them down over my hands. Overall I'm very happy with this jacket....and it was on sale!

Rated 2 out of 5 by loyalelelbeanfan from Quality has gone down hill on this fleece. I ordered this in March of this year, but of course didn't wear it much before weather changed. In what I consider very few uses, it started to pill. The pills are small, but ugly nevertheless. The fabric wasn't appealing to begin with but the pills were the last straw for me. Looks like something I might expect from a discount box store. I have had a couple other fleeces from LLBean that I was pretty happy with, especially my old wind proof fleece I got several years ago in vest form and it still looks fantastic. I was hoping for something similar. I think LLBean should be looking hard at their manufacturers and making sure the quality is there for the long haul. I'm returning this. Wishing I was seeing something here to replace it with...

Rated 5 out of 5 by MontanaNana from Great three-season jacket I've been looking all over for a replacement for a brand-name jacket I bought several years ago. That model is no longer available, and its revised version is shaped all wrong. The sleeves go past my knuckles. (Is that a new thing?) And then I found this one. I love, love, love it! I have horses, and this jacket sheds hay, dirt and hair better than fleece. There's just the right amount of stretch to keep it from binding anywhere; it's slightly fitted without being tight. And it's just the right weight to wear indoors or out or fit under a jacket for a mid-layer during the winter. Plus, it looks great. Did I say this is my new favorite piece of clothing? Yes, indeed. Thanks, L.L. Bean, for another great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LLBeanFishingShopper from LOVE LOVE LOVE this jacket! I have this jacket in the Deepest Blue color with the dark pink trim in M Petite. The color combo is very pretty and I don't feel the dark blue looks purple-y as one reviewer said but is more of a dark royal blue. The pink trim is a nice addition to this good looking & feminine running jacket which I also wear to the gym or just about anywhere.Fabric is soft, warm and comfortable and doesn't bunch up at the waist but hangs straight with a slightly longer back. Sleeves have a binding to keep out the cold and a lower jacket drawcord. I love the zipped pockets and smooth working front zipper and high collar to keep out the winter wind. I am 5'4" and 128 lbs. and the M Petite fits perfectly. This is my best running jacket ever!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rince from Very long arms I loved the piping on the navy version of this jacket; very stylish, very slimming. Unfortunately the arms were way too long, even in a petite--I had to turn the cuffs back about 4 inches before the sleeves would even be kind of wearable. The fabric is indeed "spongy" or "foamy", but I think it would be very warm. It does drag on clothing, so the jacket was difficult to put on, lots of pulling and tugging. My usual size fit well everywhere but the arm length. I would only recommend this to someone who had longer arms or didn't mind way-too-long sleeves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SeasonedCitizen78 from Prostretch Fleece Jacket So far, very pleased...very light weight so couldn't believe this was a ski jacket...however, did wear it on a very cold and windy day - 40F - with just a cotton T and, have to say, it was warm enough - so maybe a ski jacket would work with all the body heat. Washed it once - came out well...reason for 4 stars, adjustable elastic at bottom hem doesn't stay cinched - maybe it's the clasp that doesn't hold the gathers - but, I can live with it...I did purchase 3 of these jackets...have my fingers crossed there won't be pilling or catching lint on the surface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NOArtist from My main jacket! I'm so glad I found this jacket! It's cute and warm. The inside has a really nice soft and warm feel so I can slip it on over a t-shirt and it feels as good as slipping on a favorite hoody, but looks much nicer. It's really flexible in all kinds of weather. I live in the South so we vary from 35 degrees to 75 degrees in the winter and this jacket works in the 30's as well as in the 60's. All I do is add a layer under it when I need to. It blocks the wind and, when everyone around me is shivering, I'm nice and cozy. Love it!
