Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyBeanCustomer58 from Soft, comfortable I am so glad these are back this season. I discovered them last winter and fell in love with the softness and overall comfort. I use them for pajamas in the winter. They fit well and can easily go under street clothes for those cold winter days walking the dog. They are well-made and a great fit. They wash well and maintain their shape and softness. For someone like me who hibernates all winter, struggling to keep warm, these heat keepers are a solid investment and a perfect addition to my wardrobe. I've just ordered three sets of tops and bottoms in the pretty new colors !! Thank you L.L. Bean for yet another terrific product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by starsleeper from Perfect I have long been a fan of silk underwear and have worn out some items from Winter Silks purchased years ago (I no longer like their prices or quality). This shirt is just as soft and just as warm and can be worn as a delicate under layer or used on its own. The neck is soft and slightly scooped. I got the blue and have ordered the white. Wish they also had it in other colors. I'm not the biggest fan of cotton turtlenecks. They always seem bulky. This, under cashmere, is the bomb! I seldom write reviews, but this one deserves a nod. Perfect shirt, LLB. Though as reviewers note, the torso is rather long (so is mine, so no worries!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by ArtGirl999 from WOW! amazing warmpth! Love this long sleeve heat keeper! When purchasing pay attention to the size chart and buy according to the chart. I take a small and it fits so sweetly over my torso and arms without bulk or bagginess... I then tried on my new LL Bean flannel shirts over this Heat keeper and they slid easily over the arms and around the body. Great! The fabric is so very soft... gentle on the skin. The top stretches where it should and stays in place. Well made, good seams. This comes down over the small of the back. I wish it were also offered in petite. If a person has any problem with keeping a warm body this is a good choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Deboer5 from Perfect for the chronically cold I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! The fit is dead on. I am 5'4" and weigh about 112 lbs. I normally wear a size 4 or XS and this fits perfectly - not super snug and uncomfortable, yet fitted enough to wear under my favorite sweaters. Long enough to tuck into my jeans so it stays tucked even when sitting/moving around. The sleeves are the perfect length as well. I have worn and washed this top several times already and it is retaining it's original size/shape nicely. Surprisingly soft, thin and lightweight, yet truly keeps me warmer than the 100% cotton layering tops I used to wear under my sweaters. I only wish they came in more colors - I would buy one in white, navy and black!

Rated 5 out of 5 by cincimom from Super baselayer...MORE COLORS, please! I purchased a couple of these to wear under my blouses in the winter, as I'm always cold and sweaters are bulky to wear for some activities. These are great - soft, warm, lightweight, and they actually have ribbed cuffs on the sleeves (needed for layering pieces, but difficult to find anymore) and the neckline has a nice finish (doesn't look cheap or unattractive peeking under the blouse). I would love to see these offered in other colors, black in particular and v-neck styles would be nice, too. The size small worked fine on my 130 lb., 5'3", 32C frame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WeimWalker from So Soft, Warm, and Comfortable... I have to force myself to take this off for laundering. I ordered the Heat Keeper top just in time for the coldest part of winter and am wearing it both day and night. Small is the right size to provide a non-bulky first layer on my 5'5", 130#, 36C shape. The garment is longer than it needs to be; it completely covers my fairly long torso. Fortunately, the fabric is so soft and thin it's not a problem to have a lot to tuck in. The light blue-green color is pretty; I'd call it Robin's Egg Blue. I'm ordering a second one!

Rated 3 out of 5 by themidge from Where's the Petite??? This is a wonderful item ... it is soft and keeps me warm in the Michigan winters. If it peeks out from under a sweater, the ivory color looks exactly like a tee! I am 5'0" and 135 lbs. I bought the Small and the fit is exactly right. But, come on, LLB, where's the petite sizing on these? The arms are long and had to be folded up and the hem comes to the top of my thighs. Because I just wear this under things around the house, that's fine, but would be not great for wearing out, having to tuck more stuff into my jeans, etc. Have been shopping at LLB since before the internet! Although much has improved about offering petite sizing, there are still so many things that are not offered that I would purchase if that were the case. As for this item, I have already recommended it to many people, with the caveat that for a shorty like me, adjustments have to be made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by baxterpal from Wonderful underlayer This shirt is perfect for a light-weight WARM first layer for use before the really cold weather. It is very soft and washes wonderfully, keeping its shape wash after wash. Does not shrink. It can be worn by itself as a well cut long sleeve tee. Perfect for under light fleece in Maine autumn; will be bottom layer of three in winter. I am ordering a second today. True to size, slim but not cling-y.
