Rated 4 out of 5 by Owlman from Good Travel Shirt I was looking for travel/hiking shirt that would be comfortable in late spring and early fall as well as in the summer. The Cresta Trail Shirt hit the spot. It has zippered pockets for carrying passport and other materials securely. More importantly, this shirt is comfortable, and looks good in the Rustic Blue color even after being washed. The Cresta shirt appears to be well made, although it is a bit warm on very hot days. I am 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weight about 175 lbs., and the Regular-Large size fits me perfectly. However, if you are more "full-bodied" than I am, you may want to consider ordering an X-Large size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MrsDegree from Attractive & Lightweight I ordered this for my husband and he loved it so much he sent me to buy a second one. It is quite attractive and has a nice slim fit while maintaining the comfortable wearability. The only issue my husband had with the shirt was that the roll sleeves felt a bit too tight on his biceps, but this wasn't a deal breaker as he won't use this shirt in that way. He is not a body builder or overweight, so I was slightly surprised, so if you have larger upper arms, don't expect to be able to roll your sleeves comfortably over them with this shirt. Other than that slight issue, this shirt is perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Retribution from Like it My husband hasn't worn it yet, but did try it on & it fit perfectly. It's still winter in the Midwest, so not the right season, but looks like it will be cool, and will pack small for trips. There was only one color option, and I wasn't sure how it would look, but is a very nice gold/grey/white plaid. He owns several styles of L. L. Bean shirts and the large/tall shirts all fit him perfectly, wash beautifully, and is about all he ever wears. Nice tailored fit w/o being too tight. It's so nice to know that whatever style you order will be a good fit, and a quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hiker1011983 from My new favorite shirt! I purchased this shirt specifically for my trip to the Grand Canyon where my wife and I were planning on hiking to Phantom Ranch for a couple nights. This shirt quickly became for my new favorite shirt, especially for backpacking. The warmth of the shirt combined with the breathable nature of it was excellent for the colder mornings and evenings, and when the Arizona sun started to heat things up I rolled up the sleeves. I also love the look of the shirt. I definitely need another one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ExiledJedi from One of my new favorites I own 2 of these shirts. The first one I bought on clearance a few months ago, and as other reviewers observed, there were quite a few loose threads in the inside mesh panels. I trimmed back the threads and it hasn't been a problem over the long term. The second shirt I bought is one of the new colors, and the stitching was absolutely perfect on this one from the start. There are many things I really like about the Cresta trail shirt. The fabric is soft, breathes well, and dries quickly. I use these shirts for yard work and other outdoor activity, and they are very comfortable to work in. Having 2 flap pockets and 2 hidden mesh zip pockets is also useful. The pockets can accommodate everything from a compass to a cell phone, and being able to open the zip pockets for extra ventilation is a clever feature. I like this shirt so much that I plan to buy a third one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nospecialcharacters from Great All-Purpose Shirt Looks sharp, fabric looks as good in person as it does in online photos. Liked the first well enough to order a second in another color. The fabric is reasonably soft to the touch, it strikes a good balance between fuzzy-soft and crinkly-hard polyester. The trim fit and tall size fit my long arms and thin frame well; though the sleeves might be tight if your arms are heavily muscled like an Olympic lifter or pro cross-fitter. Hopefully the marketing folks will allow LL Bean to keep this one around, unchanged, for a decade. It has the makings of a classic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by orioles522 from Great fit if you have broad shoulders This shirt is great. I own the Dark Amber and Cayenne, and plan on getting the Astral Blue. I'm 6'2", 240lbs, and have broad shoulders. I was hesitant to get the XL regular because most shirts that size tend to have sleeves that are too short, or have sleeves that are long enough but the torso is like a tent. This shirt actually fits perfect. The sleeves are long enough (about 36") plus since the shirt is slightly fitted, it's not like you're wearing a tent. It's also long enough to tuck in or wear untucked. I only have two negatives about this shirt. Considering how much you're paying, I was surprised at how many loose threads were hanging in various places. You'd think it would be a bit more finished for the price. The other drawback is the weird straps in the sleeves to keep them rolled up. Do people actually use those? They just get in the way. Both of those drawbacks are minor though. I highly recommend this shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cubsfan17 from Soft Fabric that keeps its shape I fluctuate between a L and XL and the large in this shirt fits great and didn't shrink when washed. It comes out of the dryer with no wrinkles and the fabric is soft but durable. I liked it enough to purchase this same Cresta Trail Shirt in 3 different colors! It would be great if LL Bean made this same shirt in solid colors as well as the plaids that are currently offered.
