Rated 5 out of 5 by nosreffeJ from Light weight, great fit. My ol' favorites purchased too many years ago gave out, so I tried these out and am pleased with the updated style. Started with khaki, immediately bought another pair in olive. They're presentable in more formal situations, fine for casual wear anywhere. Ample front, side and back pockets, belt loops wide enough to accommodate web and more formal belts. UPV protection a plus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FourthTry from Nice Pant, Bring Back Mountainside Cresta is a nice pant. I too found the waist to be oversized, about 1/2 to 3/4 inches. I bought and replaced the Mountainside throughout the term they were available; I really liked the material, look, and utility - could wear them in most situations. I tried the Riverton; it was the Mountainside replacement to be like Carhart. They proved to be too dense of a material, I wear them only when the situation calls for such. I bought three pair (color) of Cresta. Nice pant for golfing here in Florida, need the UPF 50. Light enough to wear in 90F (Don't laugh... professional golfers wear pants!). I don't find the Cresta to be a general purpose pant. I would like to see a lighter color than khaki. Nonetheless, I prefer the Mountainside for reasons mentioned above.

Rated 2 out of 5 by wp1262 from Cresta pants TA504726 Ordered 35 waist 30 inseam. Actual waist measure came to 39.5 in. Inseam measured 31 1/2 in. Hip pockets are too shallow but back pocket and one pocket on the rt leg zip shut. I like the light material for summer wear and washability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EdMcC from Excellent lightweight pants This material is very comfortable for hot summer days and the fit is good. I would have liked another zippered cargo pocket for the left leg but otherwise they're great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RegafRatsk from Excellent for day hikes I bought these pants to go with my Boy Scout (adult leader, of course) uniform. I have worn them on both day hikes and on overnight camp outs. The material resists wrinkles well and is a little stretchy. The pants are thin and I would not use them in cold weather unless wearing a layer underneath.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LionMAX from too light These pants are too slim and too light for my purposes. If I had known that they were 95% nylon, I would have ordered something else. I will be sending them back in exchange for a pair of the Pathfinders. I would recommend them to a friend if he wants stretchy nylon pants.

Rated 3 out of 5 by rayzer from Several special features When you receive these pants you notice there are features that are not mentioned on the website. One beltloop is very different from the rest, and the extra wide hems will turn up to reveal reflective material, and there are probably others that I have forgotten. I returned my pair because the pockets were small, the extra pocket on the thigh would only hold something thin and it would ride hard on my quad. These are not bad pants for an urban adventurer, but are not for the woods.

Rated 4 out of 5 by VAT1 from fit Very comfortable but the waist was at least one inch too large. They were returned for a smaller waist size.
