Rated 5 out of 5 by Workhorse978 from Awesome! I ordered these men’s boots because the color combination was not available in women’s sizes. As other reviewers have stated, the burgundy is less ox blood and more brick red. As such, the contrast between the rubber and leather is not quite as striking as what the picture shows. With that said, I still love these boots! I laced them and put them on immediately. They not only look great, but also fit well. (I typically wear a size 9 in women’s shoes and ordered a 7 in these.) It was also pretty special to receive the card stating the first name of the individual who handcrafted my boots. Really cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RedBeaner from Great Look Just got these boots and was relived to see they are not as red as they look in the website pics. More muted and not a sassy red color, especially the sole. Soft leather upper that is sure to age nicely. I only got one set of laces (the Additional Features section said you get two) and all I had to do was hit the Live Chat button and within minutes I got a shipping notice of the no cost extra set. Top notch customer service! Get one size smaller than you normally wear, as they suggest. My teenage son has a pair of the standard Bean Boots and he covets these greatly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by AtomicAndy from Really love these!! This is my second pair of bean boots and the build quality of this model is just as good as my other pair of bean boots. Where this model really shows it's quality over the other models is the leather uppers, simply put they are amazing. The leather on these is thicker and stiffer than what is found on standard bean boots but the uppers are constructed differently so they still feel as comfortable out of the box as a regular pair of bean boots. The red bottoms are a cool addition as well they are very muted compared to the pictures and look very nice in person but may not be for everyone. The only issue I have with the boots is the laces that are included are a little long and could be a few inches shorter. Overall they are great boots and I highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Timinmass from Wow! Sweet boot! I recently picked up a pair of these booths while in Freeport and they really are gorgeous boots. I normally wear a 12, but the 11s fit perfectly with a heavy wool sock. I previously had the bean boots that were gortex / thinsulate, but I quickly returned them, as the liners kept coming out every time I took them off. Not to mention, the leather in those boots are really stiff. I LOVE the leather on these boots. Super, super soft and pliable. They seem to have a broken in feel already and are extremely comfortable. The color scheme also looks very retro and unique. I love the dark leather and the red rubber looks extremely sharp. I can't wait for winter to come to start wearing these bad boys!

Rated 3 out of 5 by JoshfromVA from Boot Cruiser Review I have been wearing Bean Boots for both form and function for the better part of the last 25 years--and these are a nice addition to my modest collection. They're very comfortable and fit true-to-size, but maybe more beneficial is the fact that the leather on the inside of the boots doesn't "bleed" onto my socks and stain them! This is my first pair of 10" Bean Boots, and while the additional height does not bother me when I wear them or walk around a bit in them, they are quite difficult to pull on/off without completely unlacing the boot. I hope that Bean will add a "loop" like the one on the heel of their 8" boots to future iterations of their entire line-especially the 10" boots and above. That small feature would make putting these boots on much easier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sh00k from Great with a couple of caveats I have a pair of these cruisers and I love them. 2 things you need to know before buying them. 1) yes, the sizes are big. I wear 11.5 in sneakers and I have these boots in a size 10 which is surprisingly a perfect fit. 2) These boots do not have that loop in the back to help you put the shoes on. I didnt realize this when I bought them. The boots are still amazing but it would be very useful to have that loop to use while you are putting the shoes on. Otherwise, great pair of boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jh2oman from Anxious to do some woods cruising Real nice, high quality product. I wanted a non-insulated boot like this for when it was too wet or sloppy for a plain leather boot, and not cold enough to require the insulated pac boots. They will be good for those rainy days when camping, too. I'm only giving 4-stars because marketing has the web page messed up: They DO NOT come with a second pair of laces; they don't include on this web page the fitment suggestions they have on the other pages of the various styles of the guide boot. I'll not worry about the laces, and a quick online chat with a very helpful customer service person answered my fitment questions. It's satisfying to buy a high quality, USA made product -- I like the card signed by the maker that came with the boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Oldmanray from Great boot As advertised. I use these boots for stream monitoring & river cleanups. Boot is waterproof and offers good support and traction over rough terrain. This is my 3rd pair and highly recommend for field work in wet conditions. Heed fit recommendations, I normally wear a size 12. In this boot a 10 fits perfectly.
