    Why We Love It
You won't find snowshoes packed with features like this at better price. An innovative ratcheting binding lets you get them on in under a minute, even with gloves on. The high-density polyethylene deck is extra-durable for years of adventure. Hardened steel crampons bite into snow and ice for reliable traction. And we?ve tested them rigorously in our lab to ensure they'll withstand tough use and harsh cold down to -20F.
    • Hardened steel crampons bite into ice and crusty snow for traction on slippery terrain.
    • Ratcheting binding allow easy on/off and better lateral control.
    • Strong 6000-grade anodized-aluminum frame.
    • Rugged decking material is abrasion and puncture resistant.
    Additional Features
    • Ergonomically tapered shape and rockered frame allow a more natural stride.
    • For fitness walking and exploring on flat to rolling terrain.
    • Binding toe offers 270° rotation for a smooth stride that won't fling snow up your back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, good price My husband and I got these months ago but just got enough snow to try them out for the first time. We haven’t done much snowshoeing in the past, and never owned any, so I can’t really compare them to other products. They seem fine - light weight, easy to adjust and put on and off. We did seem to sink into the new, powdery snow more than I might have hoped, but I imagine they’ll be easier to use on older, more compacted snow. We didn’t use poles and didn’t have any stability problems - I feel like poles would just get in the way unless the ground is super rocky or something. Fun workout, and the price is right!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Far So Good The quality of the snowshoes is excellent which I would expect from LLBean. We’ve had little snow in my part of Wisconsin, but I’ve loved wearing them so far. They easily go on and off with easy adjustments made. The back strap around the ankle is a little cumbersome to put on and the long “tail” left after adjusting can flop around. (The reason for the 4*) I tuck it in beside my boot and all is well. I’ve worn my snow shoes with 2 different types of boots and they adjust just fine. I’m anxious for more snow to see how they really work, but so far I would definitely recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for All Ages! I have never snowshoed in my life! As a 71 year old woman, this is all new to me. I was pretty dubious of buying these snow walkers, but at a friend's insistence, I did it. I was really surprised how much fun these are. Once you have your boots properly secured in the bindings, you are off! I have felt very sable. There are serious metal show grippers on the bottoms of these. I did buy the walking sticks, and they have added to my sense of control. I plan to buy a pair of these for my niece and her husband and two children next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter Walking Finally, we have snow and cold in Iowa! Daily I strap on the winter walker snowshoes and walk the labyrinth in our front yard. Even with stiff bindings because I keep them in the unheated garage, they are easy to step into and tighten. Lightweight. Keep me on top. A good buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product, sizing tricky These are my first pair of snowshoes and overall, I'm enjoying them. However, I bought the medium size (25") based on the recommended weight. The issue is, the straps are too big/long for my shoe size. I have an average foot - size 8 women's, but I have to keep the heel strap as tight as it will go to hold my boot in place. The couple of times I've used them, the straps drag and get in the way. The sizing is disappointing and why I rated it average instead of excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and easy to use These are really great snowshoes! The bindings are very easy to fit, and to get on and off. They are a great snow shoe for the casual user. I do wish I had known about the option to add a bag & poles to the order, as I would have definitely done so, and that is not an option to add after the initial order.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Women's Winter Walker Snowshoe I purchased these for my girl friend, who loves the look of them but we don't have enough snow on the ground to try them out. However, the "clinching" point on the rear boot strap is aluminum, which can fatigue and bend, and not stainless steel so I am not totally sold on them yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bindings that lock The original snow shoes had problems where the binding wouldn't stay locked. The new ones work.
