Rated 4 out of 5 by MollyAnnMann from Not suitable for layering. This coat is definitely “slighty fitted”. It’s not as relaxed as the Trail Model Rain Coat that it replaced. Don’t really understand the need for the drawstring waist. I’m still looking for a waterproof, breathable, packable coat that you could layer over 3 layers if you need to, like the old Trail Model Rain Coat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by WICamper from Flaw in design This rain coat is a great concept with the zippered pockets, adjustable waist and great length but the sleeves were so narrow. Women that wear a 2X do not have arms as thin as what was expected in this coat. There was no room for any type of long sleeve tee shirt or any garment. Bought the H2Off Rain Mesh-Lined Jacket instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mcminvt from It's what I wanted Purchased this for a trip across the pond to the UK in March. It folds up well, takes up little space, is light weight, doesn't wrinkle. The hood negated me having to carry an umbrella. It worked well for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kaytee from Terrific raincoat but way off in sizing I needed to replace my H2Off raincoat I’ve had for 10 years, and since LL Bean does not offer the mesh lined version in plus sizes I ordered this one. I tried the regular size XL in the store and while it fit I wanted a little extra room for layering. So I ordered the plus size 1X online. It fits exactly like the XL!!!!!!! And the arms in the 1X may even be a bit more snug than the XL. I wish I had looked at the size charts prior to ordering because according to the charts the XL and 1X are basically the same size. How can that be? I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume if the XL doesn’t fit the next size up should be 1X. I now ordered the 2X and hope it works. Because I think this will be a perfect raincoat for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CCod from Just what I wanted, I thought When I saw this on line, I knew it was what I had been looking for— a longer rain coat/jacket. I purchased two sizes, not being sure of the fit. I kept the larger one, as I thought the fit ran on the slimmer side and the sleeve needed more room. I’m sending the smaller one back and I’m still not sure about the sleeve on the larger one. I would have liked a wider choice of colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by arkansasrazorback from Lightweight Raincoat While I have not tested this raincoat in the rain, I really like how lightweight it is and how small it can be folded up. I want it especially for football games where it may have to go over a heavy coat and buying one size larger allows that to happen. I already own the LL Bean rain pants and they are truly waterproof.

Rated 1 out of 5 by online91 from Misrepresented/Poor Quality This coat is a very thin nylon and does not look at all as robust as it does online. I never would have paid $129 for something as cheap looking and as flimsy as this is. It most definitely does not look like it would keep a raindrop off your body, but even if it would, you would need layers underneath it to give you any warmth. I'm furious this was so misrepresented and that I have already thrown away the packaging and slip. When I opened this, my thought was I must have bought this on sale for a summer rain. I didn't remember buying this until I looked up my purchases. I'm livid,
