      Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flat sheet surprise Unpleasant surprise: these sheets are only printed on one side (only obvious for the flat sheet). My previous purchase of flannel sheets from LLBean are printed on both sides, as are all of my other sheets. Otherwise the sheets are excellent.

We have purchased and loved these top quality velvety soft sheets for many years. When I received this newest set I was so disappointed I considered returning them because they did not feel like the velvety soft flannel we have enjoyed for years, they felt like a strong, durable cotton, not a soft flannel. I resigned myself to living with them anyway and washed and dried them and then they became the velvety soft flannel I had expected to love! Sorry I doubted this wonderful LLBean product.
