Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Gorgeous Anorak First, thank you to L.L.Bean for bringing this back - I've been waiting for years! Also, I'd pay an extra $50 (if not more) to have it made in Maine. This anorak feels like better quality than the originals. The fabric is amazing with great details like the leather tabs and the color is beautiful. Incredibly happy with the design and quality. I can't believe it's so cheap. Large sizes, even for the typical L.L.Bean boxy styles. I'm usually a small and I've returned this to get an XS. The small fit over my 9 months pregnant belly....it was huge! We'll see if the XS is okay or if I need to exchange it to get an XXS (that seems ridiculous).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hood Fail--too roomy & not adjustable This Anorak has many things going for it such as the fun colors and huge front pocket along with wind and water resistant fabric, BUT the "Roomy, adjustable hood" is ridiculous. It is far too big and does not have any adjustment features other than the drawstring. Due to the extreme size and way the hood hangs over one's face, it is not practical to use in the rain. To use this jacket in the rain, one must plan to wear another hat with this anorak. This hood needs to be less "roomy" and have a behind the head adjustment system. Overall, the poor design of the hood negates this anorak as a rain gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CLASSIC ANORAK The name says it all. This is truly a classic. I did not retire my 10 year old bright red anorak until I received the new version. It is just as well made and even more stylish with the colorblock design. It is wind and rain resistant with a great hood and functional kangaroo pocket. I first ordered the regular size small (5'2 1/2/128 lbs) instead of petite which was a mistake. It looked sloppy and the sleeves fell to mid-palm. The petite version fits perfectly. I expect to get just as many years of use from this anorak as I did the previous version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from outstanding water resistance I just had to add to my previous review. Two days after my jacket arrived I had a chance to test it's water resistant properties. It was about 60 degrees and raining heavily when I went out running errands. Water beaded up and didn't soak thru - it performed as well as any waterproof jacket I own! Hood fit perfectly. The other amazing thing was that the jacket was completely dry a few minutes after being indoors. I went outdoors in this during a flash flood warning, and was completely dry!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love at first touch! This is amazing - I was looking for a cute but durable jacket for biking, rainy spring days or hanging around a bonfire into the night - this hits all the nails on the head! It's comfortable, soft and not plastic-y, warm enough yet cool enough and I love how far it unzips so I don't mess up my hair on days I want to be cute! It's everything I hoped for and the colors are awesome, will be buying other colors. I am a 10 in most womens pants, med in most tops and the medium is the perfect fit with room to have a long sleeve underneath - any smaller and it would have fit but not around my hips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I just Love this lightweight pullover. I’m tall 5’10 and have long arms and this in a medium can come down over my butt, when not tightened at the bottom, & the sleeves are plenty long enough! It’s roomy enough to wear over some comfy underlayers, but not so baggy that it couldn’t be worn under a heavier jacket. The material this jacket is made from is softer (& quieter) than most windbreakers and still manages to keeps the rain off and the wind out. With two front pockets this pullover is, in all, an awesome buy I highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought it to wear on my sailboat I bought a medium and it fit perfect. I am 5'4", weigh 154. Chest is 38, waist is 34 and hips are 43. I can put a layer underneath it. I will use it in light drizzle or damp weather on my sailboat. I have other foul weather gear for more heavy rain. Seems like a nice lightweight jacket. I bought one for a friend for her birthday, i got the large for her. I did try it on, too big for me. I got the medium. Arm length is perfect too on the medium. Found this true to size. I got the green and blue colorblock for myself and the red and blue for my friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CLASSIC ANORAK The name says it all! This is a classic indeed. I had a bright red anorak from Beans which I've been wearing for the past 15 years and only gave away when I received my new order. This anorak has the identical features of the old version but the colorblock version is more stylish. This jacket is wind and rain resistant. Love that it is roomy enough to wear a heavier underlayer underneath and the hood does not slip off and keeps you dry in clement weather. I mistakenly ordered a regular instead of a petite. I definitely needed the petite in this version. I am 128, 5 ft. 2. Received petite and it fits perfectly. Great purchase which I will probably have for another 15 years!!
