    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Hiking Shoe I am very happy with my choice. I consider it an extreme value. It is well made and I believe it will prove durable. As to the quality of the shoe itself, it is good but maybe not on a level with more expensive types of hiking shoes (think double the price). My feet are exceptionally wide. I found that the 11 EE fit well even though I am really a 10.5 EEEE.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stitching Pulled - Sturdy Otherwise Worn very little, the soles show almost no wear but the stitching is pulling out about 1/2" on the big-toe nose of the uppers of one of the sneakers. The upper panels are separating so it will travel along the seam now. Its a shame, they have been worn very little and look new otherwise. Thinking of looking at a cobbler to repair it but I'm sure it will be $40-$50. I wonder if its worth the investment if other areas of the seams will do the same.

He has a wide foot and often has trouble finding shoes with both comfort and style built into one pair, leaving a large number of shoes worn once or twice. DO NOT FEAR! These were perfect. Width was perfect, style is casual enough, well made and the most important factor, he loves them! Thank you LLBean!
