The result is the most pill-resistant flannel sheets we've ever tested, unmatched in comfort and durability.

Ultrasoft Comfort Flannel Sheet, Flat is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 682.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid color flat flannel sheets. I ordered and received 2 of these sheets which I use as light blankets. I used to order blue and white plaid, but they are no longer available as a single flat sheet, only as sets. What I wound up ordering was dark blue sheets, which when I washed them, left a ton of lint in the lint filter and after they were dry, they had pills and fuzz balls all over. I never had this problem with the plaid flannel sheets, so I'd love to know what is going on with Bean's quality. Please stop cutting corners LL Bean and go back to your old dependable quality. This request goes for a lot of your other products as well, including your Perfect Fit pants.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for COLD weather These sets are very soft and warm. Not so good for warm southern states, but great if you live in the northern states. I live in FL, but purchased these sheets since the description indicated they were good for all weather. The fitted sheet is very soft so I kept one order of those, but the pillow cases and flat sheets were way too warm, even on "cold" nights here in FL. I also would recommend that you do not wash them in hot or warm water and dry hot, as I did experience some minor shrinkage. Overall, I would highly recommend these sheets if you live in a northern state and want to sleep in really comfortable, soft and warm sheets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost good. Looses two stars on durability. This top sheet is very comfortable and soft. Warmth is nice as it can be used without a blanket for hot nights, or with for cold. The main down fall of this sheet is durability. Lint in a dryer happens. With this type of fabric it's normal and actually pretty good compared to others. The small side seams are not properly sewn. One of mine failed first wash. Was wondering wear a large piece of string came from and noticed the bare edge of the sheet. I don't think I would buy again unless the seams were reinforced. At least for the amount this single sheet sells for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultrasoft flannel sheets - wonderful! I bought a full set of these sheets, solid fitted and windowpane flat along with both styles of pillow case. My husband and I fell in love with these sheets from the first night we slept on them. They have stayed soft without pilling through multiple washes (I use Ivory Snow and very little fabric softener). The shrinkage has been such that the sheets fit perfectly so enough extra was allowed in manufacturing to compensate for this. Look for lots of lint in the dryer filter initially but decrease after one or two washes. I plan on buying at more sets for our bed as well as our guest bedrooms. Do yourself a favor during this long cold nights and indulge yourself in a set of these. You will not be disappointed!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Recommend yes and no Although this is a beautiful fabric, and well made, and certainly soft and pill free, I would be careful about what size you order. I wash my sheets before using to get all the manufacturing chemicals out (baking soda to wash, white vinegar to rinse) in cold water and then dry on low heat. After washing the twin flat sheet I bought which was sized at 70 x 105, the width shrank to 63 inches, and the length to 100 inches. Just a FYI for sizing ordering info.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievably Warm We have had flannel sheets for the winter for years. However, on really cold nights (we turn the heat down at night as advised by all the environmentalists), we were still cold. Now, we have these LL Bean flannel sheets and are so surprised that we are NEVER cold when sleeping regardless of the temperature outside (or in). We cannot believe the difference in these sheets. Not only are they soft and "dreamy" but they actual keep you warm and protected. That is why we call them "unbelievably warm". You will not believe it either until you actually sleep on them - the sheets and the pillow cases too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I would describe my new king sized flat flannel sheet as "Cozy, Warm and Soft." I am a returning customer and love that LL Bean offers individual sheets, as opposed to sheet sets. We have a queen sized bed but since sheet sets never allow for the fact that once you put a couple of people in the bed the top sheet is always to narrow. Bodies lift the sheets and covers up off the mattress leaving drafts all round so I buy a queen fitted sheet and a king flat sheet, and now we are all good - and warm - through our northern winters. When this sheet wears out, I'll be back for another - thanks LL Bean!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from soft So far it is soft. Lots of lint in the dryer, to be expected. I do have a question, though. When did the flat sheets get so narrow in width? The only reason I didn't downgrade it is because I sleep alone most of the time and don't need the sheet to go all the way across, to the other side of the bed! In the good ole days, before fitted sheets, the flat sheets could double for a bottom sheet. You wrapped it under the top mattress. This one barely goes to the TOP of the mattress, from side-to-side!!
