Rated 2 out of 5 by ellienyc from Bring Back Solid Neutrals I just hope that next year Bean is able to (1) bring back solid navy AND add a black, and (2) keep the shape boxy and the fabric a good weight real cotton (not that awful slinky single ply supima stuff they are using on other tees). I don't like girly girly pastels and look terrible in horizontal stripes, not to mention the fact I don't even like stripes. I am on the last of the navy saturday tees I bought from Bean several years ago. The rest have worn out. I love the "boxtop" shape, which is great with lightweight loose linen pants in hot weather where I live. I hate that "supima" Bean is touting for all its other tees, as it is thin, cheap looking, and clingy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DesignerCraftsman from Saturday Tee I bought the teal and the vintage blue, both are great colors. These tees have been my go to tee for decades, I still love the fabric and fit but I am truly sad and also very disappointed you ignore the many requests from your customers for MORE color choices. Why is that, LL Bean? A comparable shirt (fit/quality) simply does not exist. I live in Florida and wear these shirts all year long, I would love to seep deep jewel tones for the fall/winter (plum, deep burnt orange, garnet) also a selection of pastels or vivid tropical colors (lime, tangerine, butter yellow. peony pink) Black and a light heather gray would be much appreciated too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Scottierazor from nubby and uncomfortable and they shrank I ordered either this shirt or the unshrinkable tees a couple of summers ago and hadn't worn them until this summer(thus I can't remember exactly which tees they were.) I haven't even worn them much and they are nubby at the underarms and chestt areas, essentially anywhere the material rubs against itself. I have never had this problem with LLBean tee shirts before, in fact I have some that are probably 10 years old. The material feels like a polyester blend but the tag states it's 100% cotton, made in Cambodia. I guess I'll just order the Pima cotton from now on to avoid this, it is scratchy and I end up taking it off because they're uncomfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by punki from Love these T-Shirts! These are my absolute favorite T-shirts. They are roomy, yet not sloppy and have a nice length (not too long). They fall right below lower belly which is flattering! They fit true to size. I just ordered three more for the spring because they are always the first thing I grab from my closet in the summer with shorts or in the winter to layer under shirts. If you want a tight, fitted shirt, they are not for you but if you want a comfortable, well-made Tee, try them. The only small drawback is they look better after washing with a little ironing. The bottom hem tends to fold upl until ironed. No big deal though, two minute ironing takes care of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kelliann from Blue Heather is gorgeous. Can we have pink? I bought blue heather crew neck short sleeve Saturday tee about a month ago. I love the heathered color. I would like to see it in pink, a shade of violet, and a shade of coral. I received the latest catalog 2 days ago and eagerly paged through it looking for Saturday tee. I found two other shirts, both "slightly fitted" which won't fit me because, since I am over 55, my waist is no longer curved like it used to be even though I am of "normal" weight for my size. Sadly, there were no Saturday tees in the catalong. And no new colors online either. (sigh) Bean, won't you please stop trying to squash sales so you can rid yourself of Saturday tee and listen to your loyal customers?

Rated 5 out of 5 by nana7girls4boys from favorite tee I have been buying these shirts for years, and they are still high on the list of my favorites. Except for the one year they tried to 'improve' them, they have always fit perfectly and they have lasted through many washings and wearings. They are absolutely the perfect style for layering under sweaters and shirts. They are the perfect length for us 'height challenged' people... a bit shorter than other tees. Maybe they could try a V neck version too. I do hope LLBean never stops selling this tee... exactly as it is now... since there is no other tee on the market made like this one. In case it's not clear.... I LOVE THIS TEE!

Rated 2 out of 5 by taku from Too short and shrinkage I just went to put this t shirt on and realized how much it had shrunk. It was just barely long enough before and now it is unacceptably short. I matched it to an old one and the body is almost 2" narrower and the length 1 1/2" shorter. Why not offer this shirt in a longer version for taller customers and then make sure the fabric does not shrink. They are offered in so few colors that I do not think this would be a problem. It is particularly important in the 1x-3- size range. There is a real problem when you lift your arms and your belly is exposed. This shirt will be donated to charity. Please L. L. Bean review your sizing. Many of us are taller than average.

Rated 4 out of 5 by chirter from Saturday Shirt I was very excited earlier this year when I saw that they had added two new colors for the Saturday t-shirt. I ordered 2 of each color and was disappointed when I found that the material had been changed such that it did not stand away from the body the way it used to but was clingy and more close fitting. I don't know if it is the way the supplier treats the cloth during the manufacturing process, but it is very disappointing. They are still 100% cotton and still made in Cambodia, but the clingy fit and softness of the cloth is very disappointing, especially since I have not been able to find any other shirts on the market that fit the way this one used to.
